"And I asked myself 'What if?'"

[Edge betritt unter lauten Pops die Halle. Er wird einige Zeit lautstark gefeiert.]

Edge: "Ahh.. [der Jubel in der Halle brandet erneut auf, Edge ist sichtlich gerührt] you know as a.. ['Edge'-Chants] as a performer,.. as an athlete,.. as an artist - and trust me; wrestlers are all of those things. The reaction I got last night at the Royal Rumble, the reaction you all just gave me; I.. you have no idea what it means to me. [Jubel und Applaus] It's WHY we do this. So thank you. ['You still got it'-Chants.] YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT IT DO. [lauter Jubel] But.. but let's address the elephant in the room. How am I standing here; one day removed from participating in the Royal Rumble. Nine years ago, I was medically disqualified from ever doing this again. [Buh-Rufe] Oh yeah, I had the same reaction. But.. I refuse to live in a world of 'what if's'. The second I ask 'what if' the very next second I get to work making that 'what if' disappear. [lautstarker Jubel] You know and over the years I started to feel pretty good. And I asked myself 'What if?'. What if.. I came back home? [Starker Jubel] So, I got to work. ['Welcome Home'-Chants] So, I got to work. I got a second neck surgery and then I busted my ass. I got in the best shape of my life at 46 years old, so I COULD STEP BACK IN HERE, so I could step back in here and end my career on MY TERMS. [erneut laute Pops] So I found myself in the Royal Rumble. I saw some familiar faces. I saw some new faces. Randy Orton. [Jubel] Roman Reigns. [gemischte Reaktionen] AJ Styles. [Jubel] Seth Rollins. [Buh-Rufe] Kevin Owens, [Jubel] Aleister Black, Matt Riddle.. it.. the list goes on and on and, boys, hopefully I see you down the road.

But listen I.. I'm not fooling myself, I know this might not last that long. I don't know how long it's gonna last. But I hope that all of you join me on this ride. [lauter Jubel und 'Yes'-Chants in der Halle] Man.. eh.. that's my first 'yes'-chant; I got to thank Daniel Bryan for that - that's pretty cool. Listen, I.. I know I'm a little older. I know I'm a little bit grayer. [fasst sich ans Kinn] I know I got some crow's feet.. but it's the roadmap that got me here.. [Jubel] and I have one thing.. one thing that you can't fabricate, you can't fake, you can't force down someone's throat and tell them that you have unless you have it and the way you know is you look someone dead in the eye. I.. have.. grit. [Jubel und Applaus] If you knock me down, I get back up."

[Randy Ortons Musik ertönt und der Apex Predator betritt unter Jubel den Ring. Dort angekommen umarmen sich die ehemaligen Tag Team-Partner.]

Randy Orton: "It's no secret that I have somewhat of a self-destructive personality more so when I was younger, but years ago when we used to make them towns, driving up and down the road, there was one guy, when I dug a hole to deep to get myself out of, there is one guy.. that grabbed my hand and pulled me up out of that hole.. and it was you. [Jubel, Edge kämpft vor Rührung mit den Tränen] Welcome home, Edge! Welcome home! You are a brother to me, you are family to me. And last night.. feeling that energy.. when your music hit.. last night feeling that chemistry, that only we have; that was special. [Jubel, Randy atmet durch] So, you're out here, you're talking about 'what if's'. What if, what if, oh, I got a 'what if' for ya. I don't know how you are gonna feel about this. I don't know how all these people are gonna feel about this, but what if Rated-RKO got back together one more time?"

[Lauter Jubel in der Halle, Edge grinst und die Halle antwortet mit "Yes"-Chants, ehe Randy Orton zum RKO out of nowhere ansetzt und Edge zu Boden bringt. Der bleibt dort sichtlich benommen liegen, während Randy Orton unter den entsetzten Reaktion des Publikums einen Stuhl in den Ring holt. Er schlägt Edge auf den Rücken, welches die Halle mit stärken Buh-Rufen quittiert. Orton stützt sich hadernd an den Seilen ab, ehe er sich durchringt, den Stuhl um Edges Kopf zu drapieren. Er besteigt die Ringecke und die Halle schreit auf. Unverrichteter Dinge verlässt Orton jedoch selbige, entfernt den Stuhl von Edges Kopf und Nackenbereich und deutet kurz an, die Halle zu verlassen. Er rennt jedoch zurück zur Ecke, wo der Ringannouncer sitzt, schnappt sich zwei Stühle und schmeißt sie in den Ring. Die Halle bang weiterhin um Edge. Orton kniet vor ihm, spricht zu ihm, während er Edge in die Haare greift. Randy platziert einen Stuhl unter Edges Kopf und schlägt anschließend stehend mit dem zweiten Stuhl auf ihn ein. "Asshole"-Chants aus dem Publikum. Mit diesen Bildern endet RAW.]

- Edge hatte am Tag zuvor beim WWE Royal Rumble 2020 nach neun Jahren sein In-Ring-Comeback gefeiert und dabei im Royal Rumble-Match seinen ehemaligen Tag Team-Partner Randy Orton eliminiert.
