[9.0] "Great feud, one of the best AEW has ever done. Pushed the limit for extreme and hardcore matches, at least for a company on a scale as big as AEW. My personal ranking: 1. Hangman Vs Swerve IV - Lights Out Steel Cage Match - AEW All Out 2024 2. Hangman Vs Swerve II - Texas Death Match - AEW Full Gear 2023 3. Hangman Vs Swerve III - World Title Contendership Singles Match - AEW Dynamite #227 (7 Feb 2024) 4. Hangman Vs Swerve I - Singles Match - AEW WrestleDream 2023"
[10.0] "Genuine contender for the best rivalry of the last fifteen years. One decent match, one great match, one all-timer, all fused together with a story filled with brilliant promos, and a narrative about the nature of violence, hatred, and moving past it. No notes, Swerve and Page are THE rivalry that will define AEW."
[10.0] "From a match perspective, their matches are not out of the park. But from the storyline perspective, this is something in wrestling I don't think I have ever seen. Typically in feuds like this, the dynamic stays the same. You know, the good guy is always the good guy, the bad guy is always the bad guy. Right? This changes the dynamic where the bad guy argueably becomes a good guy, and the bad guy becomes the good guy but you can't really say for sure as the viewer. Is Hangman the bad guy of the feud? Yes and no. Is Swerve? Yes! But also no! It's a story tactic constantly used in TV but never in wrestling, that's why it's so unique. You can always say definitively in wrestling feuds who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. This maybe the first feud where you can't say "This is this. This is this." A true anti hero vs anti hero situation."
[10.0] "the SINGLE most blood driven and vicious feud AEW has put out, driven by revenge, hate, trauma, and just pure chemistry (and fire) on both sides. I am glad to say that I was here for it and I hope it gets lit back up again."
[10.0] "THE generational feud for AEW and probably the most defining rivalry the company has seen yet. Hangman and Swerve have unreal chemistry and their skills both in-ring and outside it blend together beautifully. I have no doubt that this rivalry will become a mainstay for the company in the future. As it stands presently, I think this is the gold standard for the industry for feuds."
[10.0] "Who doesnt love a story filled with hate and disgust done right. Probably the best story AEW has ever produced and both men delivered on promos and in the ring. Whether it was a violent match like Texas death & the steel cage or a normal match like the wrestle dream or dynamite match they always delivered."
[10.0] "Hangman and Swerve rivalry is one of the greatest in pro wrestling. The matches they had were very brutal. The storytelling is absolutely crazy. Both guys are super talented in the ring. Their matches from Full Gear 2023 and All out 2024 are NOT for the light-hearted."
[10.0] "Already one of the best, most brutal, most bloodthirsty feuds of this decade. The best work either men have done, and one of the best stories to come out of AEW. So unbelievably gruesome from a major promotion, involving the drinking and spitting of each others blood, staple guns, the arson of property, the growing viciousness not only between the two but their characters in general, as these two have destined each other into mutually assured destruction in matches against one another, as well as everyone around them."
[10.0] "Well, after it finally ended at All Out, I gotta consider it as one of if not the best rivalry in AEW history. Tremendous matches and a very creative storyline that was making the program fresh till the finish"
[10.0] "Fantastic, amazing, top tier level. After their All Out Unsanctioned Match, all I can say is that Swerve x Page is already on the list of best rivalries of all time."
[10.0] "Kind of started off as something to give both men to do, and it has now blossomed into the best feud AEW has ever had. The chemistry these two have is insane, and some of the best ive seen not just in the ring, but also on promos. They are what many people would call, wrestling soulmates."
[10.0] "This went from being about being a top guy to a literal bloodbath feud. I don't believe the rivalry between these two is over yet, but damn. It is up there with Jericho vs Michaels(2008), Edge vs Matt Hardy(2005), and Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins(2014)."
[10.0] "Awesome rivalry with bangers matches. Adam Page made Swerve a star and was interesting for the first time in months thanks to this feud. These 2 seems to be generational rivals and they will surely meet up many times again, for our pleasure. Maybe AEW best rivalry in history, with Kenny vs Adam Page."
[10.0] "Well this has had me invested, and it isn't even over. Somehow I have become more and more invested in Swerve despite him cutting a promo on hangman's literal two year old child. Hangman is great, swerve is great. It made a new world champion in the making. The promos have been good. The matches have been good. It ticks all the boxes. One of my favourite feuds."
