These two could sell out arenas across the world on their own, but when they were set to clash it was must see, their WM3 match will forever be a symbol of the sport and why people love wrestling to begin with."

[9.0] "Andre and Hulk were icons of the era, and their clash at Wrestlemania 3, even despite the controversial quality of the match itself, is a truly legendary moment, and although their other meetings do not have the same historical significance, it is in any case a very worthy rivalry, including matches in the early 80s before the birth of Hulkamania, and a program in Japan, where both became prominent gaijins."

[10.0] "The feud was larger than life. Literally two wrestling Gods. Even when you had great champions such as Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Verne Gagne, Billy Robinson, Dory Funk Jr, Jack Brisco, Nick Bockwinkle, Superstar Billy Graham, Bob Backlund and Harley Race, there was always Andre the Giant. Andre was too far above mortal man to be given a high profile run at a champion. It was the unspoken rule, Andre was The Boss, who let the other worthy mortal men occupy the belt, which he could attain at a snap of a finger. He was above a Championship Belt. He was larger than life. He was content beating the largest of the contenders into submission. Black Jack Mulligan, Big John Studd, King Kong Bundy, Kamala, Gorilla Monsoon, Sgt. Slaughter, Don Leo Jonathan and many others were real life monsters, but all were mere putty in Andre's hands. Andre would tag team with the top heroes, notably Sammartino, Strongbow and Hogan, but he'd never battle them. His heel turn shocked the world, but it was a long time coming. Why had no champions offered him a title shot over all these years. Now Hogan had to deliver. Add to the fact that they feuded earlier, across the globe when Andre was hero and Hogan was heel. Even then, you could see Hogan was above and beyond the earlier challenges to the Eight Wonder of the World, and now he was powered by Hulkamania. It reached a crescendo at WrestleMania 3, with the slam heard around the world. It continued at Survivor Series and WrestleMania 4. We are unlikely to ever see a feud of this magnitude ever again."

Obviously their Mania III period is the most famous but there are other incarnations as well and most of them have something good to offer. Can't deny the sizable contribution by Bobby Heenan as well, he amplified all the best aspects of this times 10."
