[7.0] "WWE tried very hard to push the John Cena Vs Randy Orton rivalry as one of the best and most generational rivalries ever and it didn't truly worked all too well. They wrestled each other so many times and most of their one on one matches, even some of their high stipulation matches, were mostly the same as each other, but sometimes with different results and there's only three of them that are actually amazing and worth watching, their match at WWE SummerSlam (2007), their I Quit match in WWE Breaking Point (2009) and their Iron Man match in WWE Bragging Rights (2009), that's it. They've done some real good work together, but never enough to be the greatest rivalry ever."

[10.0] "One of my favorite feuds ever, the okada v tanahashi of wwe. Just a perfect dynamic of the ultimate babyface of the company vs the ultimate vicious heel. This was always a feud that generated attention when i was first getting into wrestling and provided me some of my earliest memories."

[4.0] "The main rivalry of WWE for almost a decade. It was a bit of a dull feud. It started off great, they created a tense and emotional dynamic between these two men but slowly over time, the vigor, the freshness was lost and we were left with repeated promos, repetitive character work and repetitive match style. Lots of promise at the start but lost its creative flair towards the end. They did have some good matches, but most of it ended up being overbooked and with too many shenanigans. Both Orton and Cena had better and more interesting feuds with others."

[3.0] "A very mediocre and boring rivalry that lasted for many, many years and got more and more bored every time. John and Randy had quite good matches between each other, but their feuds seemed really eternal and for a while was even something like a meme in wrestling community, although they had the prospect of becoming legendary enemies, given the status of the main heel and babyface of the company in different periods. Maybe the lack of chemistry is to blame, maybe the fans are just tired of them, but it seems to me that this rivalry is overrated enough, so 3 points."

When you ask someone about a wrestling feud 80% of the time they will answer Cena vs Orton. I'm personally a big fan of both and loved everything in this rivalry, the segments, the beatdowns, the drama (with Cena's father for exemple), the promo and the matches. Probably one of my all-time favorite rivalry"

Tenryu-Tsuruta, Kawada-Misawa, Steamboat-Flair, Austin-Rock. But when it comes to the 00s in WWE... Orton and Cena have never had any chemistry or common ground, they are just big figures who, when working with each other, can't be interested. Even when I started watching wrestling and was excited about literally everything, their interaction didn't impress me, and the feuds in 2013 and 2014 were a real torment for me. I could understand why they were the ones who were given the burden of combining the two world championships, but they didn't put even a pinch of soul into this event. And so it is constantly. I won't put 1 just because I hope to one day discover at least one hidden gem in their history, whether it's an incredibly underrated and forgotten match on TV, or some heartwarming promo. But for now, like this. Their time at the top has already passed, but I still don't understand why they are so empty in their work."

[2.0] "Mediocre rivalry. WWE wishes that this could be Okada/Tanahashi. Mediocre chemistry in the ring. Outside the summerslam 07 match which was close to great match, these 2 almost did nothing to me. Their matches felt repetitive, lazy with usual kickout finisher and spamming moves for no reasons. The rivalry got old after their borefest series in 2009 and it was even worse when they continued to wrestle each other in 2013 and 2014. Overall, no way I consider this as top rivalry like Austin/rock or Hbk/Y2J."

[4.0] "As hard as this rivalry has been pushed over the years, as if it was on the level of something like Misawa-Kawada or Flair-Steamboat, Cena and Orton have next to zero chemistry."

[5.0] "The most samiest rivalry in WWE history. Literally lame how they tried to push this as the next Rock vs. Austin yet they've faced twice or almost three times as many as they have done on TV! Full of mediocre wrestling with only a few gems, makes it an overall samey mediocre rivalry."

[2.0] "A hard rivalry to rate, because at some points is has been awesome, and at some points is has been terrible. I must say I did like some of the stuff they did in 2009, but mostly I can't say that I have enjoyed this rivalry a lot. When they were pitted against each other early it didn't really live up to potential, then it peaked in 2009 but they did it so much it became overkill, seriously they burned it out so badly that they couldn't seem to think of anything new to do and frankly that has continued to this day. Even when people clearly did not care any more they continued to pair these two together and met with apathy many, many times. Just looking at these two together feels like a symbol of WWE laziness in the 10s, the idea that these two can just be thrown together and it will be something. I just don't see it, though I do have to say I love their Iron Man match. That's about it though."
