[9.0] "Kudos to both men for this exceptional feud. Punk delivered some of the best promo work possible in PG era and Jeff had legendary in-ring moments here. It was bookended with Jeff's unforgettable ladder match with Edge and the Punk/Jeff TLC and Steel Cage matches that happened in the span of days. Without question the best face and heel of the year and this helped elevate both men"

I loved how they tackled real situations that was going on in Jeff's life and even used it as a chance to write him off of WWE television on his way to TNA. Overall great rivals that put on great matches and an amazing story."

[10.0] "This feud just represented my childhood along with the Michaels vs Jericho story from 2008. This storyline, as I look back, was perfect. Punk played a great heel here. He was the 'bad guy' despite the fact all he did was telling to the fans, the right way to live, that means no drugs nor alcohol. Jeff Hardy was just, being Jeff Hardy, a tremendous babyface, who always accepted his failures in order to move on & get better. In the end, despite the fact that the "heel" won the feud, it was also the superior way of doing life that triumph. A lesson that kids at the time, like me, learn, for their own personal life."

Hardy with his unfortunate past with drugs, and Punk's straight-edge life combined for a rivalry that invoked all kinds of emotions, and one that made you wonder if some of this could've passed as a "shoot". The quality of their matches were fantastic as well, which, after SummerSlam, successfully transitioned into Punk/Taker for the WHC. Sometimes it's not about the length, but the quality, and this feud is proof that you can have a rivalry last just a few months and have it become one of the best."

Culmating from a successful title win at Extreme Rules 2009. Jeff Hardy was finally the World Heavyweight Champion. Until CM Punk cashes in his Money in he bank briefcase & Immediately takes that away from him. Fighting at The Bash, Night Of Champions & Summerslam. Hardy & Punk pulled off some amazing stunts & left most people wanting more. The only downside to this feud is it led to the departure of Jeff Hardy."

[10.0] "This feud is very special for me. Back in 2009 I was watching WWE with my brother and he was and still is Jeff Hardy's fan. And I found my idol forever in Edge. Those two had an amazing rivalry and it gave birth to one of the most breathtaking feuds in professional wrestling history - CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy. The Straight Edge Savior vs. The Daredevil, The Extreme Enigma. Punk with his high morales was trying to save the universe from alcohol, drugs and smoking. Jeff, who was caught with such problems in real life, became the victim of CM Punk's obsession. And that was something fresh and creative. Me and my brother were enjoying every single promo and match involving these guys. Extreme emotions after every show, one of those feuds that makes you proud of being a pro-wrestling fan. As for the matches, they were magnificent. CM Punk and Jeff Hardy captured the attention of the whole world by their actions, their interactions, their wrestling styless. TLC match on SummerSlam and a Steel Cage match on SmackDown were one of the best matches in WWE history. Just amazing. For me this rivalry played a major role as the feud that makes you feel every moment between wrestlers. You just can't wait to see what happens next time. CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy inserted its name in professional wrestling history forever."
