This was the worst of his storylines, and if HHH had half the pull everyone says he did at this time, he should have nixed it. Just embarassing"

Apparently, Vince McMahon was very adamant on it being a soap opera story line around necrophilia, so much so he practically forced people to record the fucking casket scene the way he wanted to, even though so many people involved were genuinely uncomfortable with the story line. I think that alone was deplorable. Storyline? Batshit stupid and disgusting. Involving drunk driving, fatal car accidents, and necrophilia with these wrestlers isn't a good idea, believe it or not, especially with Kane who is supposed to be this character in a more gothic supernatural world. This feud completely disregarded that, and the already set in stone history that Kane has in the company. And to think this wouldn't be the first time this would happen to his character in very similar scenarios? What the fuck was anyone thinking?"

The Attitude Era is notorious for pushing the envelope as far as it could go, but this took things to all kinds of uncomfortable levels and made being a wrestling fan feel dirty and embarrassed! It was responsible for some of the worst content I've ever seen in any form of entertainment and not just in a wrestling show."

I'm sure creative was laughing up a storm when you brought forth this idea. Which completely broke the previously established lore of Kane's character anyway."

A tremendous embarrassment for everyone involved and for all wrestling fans everywhere. The fact that Triple H willingly took part in THAT segment makes me question his mental state to this day."
