[6.0] "Pro Wrestling Superstars was a wrestling promotion created by the people in charge of Highspots.com. It wasn't the usual promotion and mostly just some nice cards that mix dream matches between new and veteran talent, as well as some of the premier indie talent at the time. They also used some legends and had some fun matches. They didn't have titles at all. I've only been able to find a handful of matches and I would like to find some more that I'm interested in. I really enjoyed some of this dream matches they did, such as Necro Butcher vs Vader. Obviously in 2012 it wasn't going to be great, but seeing those two stiffing each other for five minutes had some aura in it. I wonder how this match would have been some years earlier. Also on this dream match, Christopher Daniels vs Shelton Benjamin. Shelton had just been released and he was facinf one of the best indepent wrestlers at the time. The match could have been better if it wasn't that "indie", but it was nice. Generico appeared in two of the matches I've seen. First defeating Jack Manning & Joey Silvia tagging with fellow Peligro Abejas Paul London, and later tagging with The Great Sasuke against The Young Bucks. The Peligro Abejas one is most indie style, with London showing his charisma. The other is a pure wrestling match and it's pretty good. There's also a pretty nice minis match in Demus 316 vs Mascarita Dorada. There's some hardcore matches as Kevin Steen vs Tommy Dreamer. And my favorite one: Davey Richards vs Harry Smith. A great technical match with some nice body work and submissions. It was amazing to see Harry Smith doing matches like this. So, all in all it's a recolection of nice indie matches."

[7.0] "PWS was a fun promotion that unfortunately didn't last long. There were no PWS titles, just a fun show. And they were consistently fun. Not mind blowing, but the roster and shows were more enjoyable to me that 95% of what I'd get from a regular indie territory. International superstars and legends, as well as top indie guys, all in one promotion is really hard to beat. Regional companies around the US would do well to take cues from PWS. Unfortunately, they'd need a major money mark to afford said roster. Thats probably why this company didn't last long."
