Booking seemed somewhat pedestrian and perhaps didn't do enough to separate the lucha product from the American "sports entertainment" style. It also seemed to lack support from its network, which certainly stunted its growth and perhaps also its creative direction. Overall, not bad, but not great. I kind of feel like Lucha Underground is what Lucha Libre USA wanted to be."
