[8.0] ""Big Tunes" Billy Corgan notwithstanding, the only other two crossover fledgling promotions that served as a 21st Century Rock 'N Wrestling that I can recall were Walemania and Alexander Wang's joshi show in New York where Kanye West performed an impromptu set. Funnily enough Westside Gunn combines Wale's hip-hop background and Alexander Wang's high couture fashion in his day job and then starts putting out shows that are already far more consistent than the both of them combined. Westside either has his finger on the pulse or has surrounded himself with the right people and is very much willing to listen; he's deftly plucked from the TNA locker room with some GCW and AEW sprinkled in where available and has put on a network television level production. Couple that with Gunn playing to his unique strengths and bringing in live musical performances and this is exactly how you kick off an independent promotion from scratch in America in 2024."
