The crew is passionate and that's because the management group is too and the investment in constantly improving has made them a staple of the wrestling world. Their ability to work well with other companies and showcase those that aren't even involved in their day-to-day activities is something to be commended and followed. |

Nur selten verlässt man die Halle enttäuscht, weil die Shows im Regelfall einen recht hohen Standard haben. Vor allem die Marquee Events liefern zufällig gute Shows. Außerdem packt die wXw manchmal Wrestler aus die kaum einer auf dem Schirm hat, die dann einschlagen wie ne Bombe. Gleichzeitig kann ich Bookingentscheidungen ich oft nicht nachvollziehen, z.B. habe ich manchmal das Gefühl das man sich auf bestimmte Leute versteift und deshalb ignoriert wenn andere gerade richtig heiß sind. Auch die Einstellung der wXw Women's Championship ist so ein Fall und ist bis heute sehr schade. Und auch wenn die wXw mittlerweile etwas an Fahrt verloren hat, ist es in meinen Augen eine Liga die jeder Fan von Independent Wrestling auf dem Schirm haben sollte. |

Mein großes Problem ist, dass ich mit niemanden mitfiebern kann und Leute, die einen Hauch von Charisma haben sicher sein können, dass sie keine große Rolle spielen. Alles ist viel zu ernst, nichts kommt mal mit einem Hauch Humor oder einer gewissen Leichtigkeit. Natürlich haben Corona und NXT UK geschadet, aber andere Ligen bekommen es ja auch hin, interessante Geschichten um interessante Charaktere zu erzählen. Es wirkt, als wenn die Macher dahinter selbst aktuell wenig Lust auf wXw hätten. |

Es gibt wenig bis gar keine vernünftigen Storylines mehr, wodurch wichtige große Momente und Payoffs zur Seltenheit geworden sind. Statt nach der Pandemie zum kultigen und einzigartigen Stehplatzformat in Oberhausen zurückzukehren, ist man beim Sitzplatz-Konzept geblieben. Dadurch hat sich die Stimmung bei den großen Shows eher in die Richtung "Wir sind leise und klatschen mal zwischendurch" entwickelt, wodurch DER USP von wXw als Fan weggefallen ist. Zudem hat man als Außenstehender das Gefühl, dass nach dem großartigen Aufbau mit der Beteiligung von CMJ, dessen Ausscheiden aus der Liga die Rolle rückwärts in Gang gesetzt hat. Die Matchqualität ist im Regelfall solide bis gut, wodurch sechs Punkte in meinen Augen für die aktuelle Lage angemessen sind. |

Die Besten aus Deutschland und internationale Stars gaben sich hier die Klinke in die Hand. Walter, Ludwig Kaiser, Ilja Dragunov und Bad Bones gab es ebenso zu sehen wie Bryan Danielson, Tommy End oder Cody Rhodes. Leider ist es der wXw nicht gelungen, sich von den Entwicklungen der letzten Jahre zu erholen: Viele große Namen sind mittlerweile in den USA oder haben die Wrestling-Stiefel an den Nagel gehängt. Mit einigen herausragenden heimischen Talenten möchte man aus unbekannten Gründen nicht mehr arbeiten. Dem Produkt hat das spürbar geschadet. Ohne Frage stellt die wXw auch weiterhin sehenswerte Events mit starken Matches auf die Beine, aber es gibt keine wirkliche Weiterentwicklung mehr. Die Promotion und ihre Wrestler treten auf der Stelle. Fragwürdige Booking-Entscheidungen verbessern diese Situation leider auch nicht. Die wXw wird sicherlich noch viele Jahre von ihrem Ruf zehren können, aber der Lack ist ab. |

The only thing that I don't like about wXw is the impossibility of watching their content live since it is only available on demand. In order to reach audiences from distant countries and gaining more fans in non-European countries, it is something that they should change in the next few years. |
