"I love AAW. I first saw some AAW shows when they briefly ran in LaSalle and was hooked ever since. Top to bottom the best. I shudder to think of the day where AAW isn't running shows in Chicago. It's as close to a Chicago institution as deep dish pizza, italian beefs, Cubs/Sox, etc. AAW FOREVER."

[10.0] "AAW has long been a quality promotion in the Chicago area, and they've recently stepped up their game, moving into dream match territory and challenging the bigger promotions. Right now, they're easily one of the top indie promotions, consistently delivering entertaining shows with a roster that balances established indie stars and rising young talents."

[9.0] "Jim Lynam, the founder of AAW had a simple vision for wrestling: we all come to this thing we love to escape the day and to believe. With short and fast paced yet grounded bouts, promos and vignettes, and longer story heavy matches, it has a unique footprint in modern indie wrestling. This is not a show where youre likely to see a 25 minute singles banger unless its been built for a while. But Im a big wrestling is genres guy, and I dont think wrestling has to be that(I like my 5 star bangers too). But I do love that style and AAW delivers a heck of a pro wrestling show."

As another user said, they always do a great job of mixing big names with local talent, thus helping the latter get exposure and grow. Aaw is still going strong today."

Their roster is pretty balance which is the combination of big name in Indie and talented and upcoming young pro wrestler from Midwest. The fact that they can book Naito in one of their show make them a company that will doing anything to excite their fan."

[9.0] "AAW has been a quality promotion for many years in the Chicago area, and this year they've gone a level above, moving into dream match territory and looking to take the big boys head on. They're selling out regularly now, and bringing in big international names like Pentagon Jr. , Zack Sabre Jr. and the like every month, and Sami Callihan is doing a great job as the dick heel champion. One of 2016's biggest and best promotions, and you're behind if you're not paying attention to them."
