[6.0] "It was an okay promotion. And that's the best and worst I can say about it was that it was okay. It did produce some great talents, John Cena, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Chris Adonis, etc. It was okay, but not great or terrible. I did see a few UPW matches back in the day, and they were not bad at all."

[5.0] "Rick Bassman's UPW put on shows that were generally OK, and it found a notable position for itself in the early-2000s indy scene as a WWE developmental territory. In retrospect, a decade after its closure, UPW's main significance is the large number of notable names that began or refined their careers there, including John Cena, The Miz, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Victoria, Chris Masters and Joey Ryan, among others."

[6.0] "The promotion wasn't that bad and the UPW wrestling school was one of the best back in the day."
