| 1 | 26.10.2025 | Pro Wrestling 1948 | 4.0 | 1984: The territory lacked star-power, aside from Harley Race, who didn't wrestle on weekly television. They brought in big names to wrestle in guest appearance roles, but as far as a consistent roster they were relying on lower mid-carders like Bulldog Bob Brown, Buzz Tyler, Roger Kirby, Ron Ritchie, The Grapplers and the Oates brothers. There were no solid storylines, just relying on face vs. heel to put butts in seats. They did give us a tag team tournament in the Spring, but they botched the finish with a lame "loaded boot controversy" angle. Although older and limited in the ring, I found Crazy Luke Graham entertaining. He even held the promotion's top title in 1984. Wrestler of the Year: Marty Jannetty. |
