[9.0] "Awesome company with unforgettable shows. They just need to broadcast live all their shows like they did in 2018. I saw Hammerstone for the first time here and all the Warbeast matches are the best of PCW ULTRA. The best indie in California and one of my favorites in the West Coast."

[7.0] "PCW Ultra was one of the few indie feds that had a bunch of their shows on Amazon Prime Video, and thanks to that I was easily able to watch a lot of their earlier shows. I really don't know why more indie feds haven't taken advantage of Prime Video, as it's essentially YouTube with extra steps but better revenue. I guess just not enough people who use Prime like wrestling or even think to search for it. Anyway, they also had an hour-ish long YouTube series called Mutiny that showcased a ton of their matches from their events to fill in some of the gaps I missed on Prime Video. It was a great little company. It had a pretty solid who's who of the usual big names on the West Coast scene in the mid-late '10s along with former big-name guys from WWE, plus a few diamonds in the rough that have really broken out recently like Jake Atlas and Hammerstone. There really weren't "storylines" to speak of too much as it was more of a PWG-styled "let's just book a bunch of fun matches every show" type of promotion, and it worked. I think the only long-running angle they had was the Warbeast stable (basically early CONTRA Unit but with Brody King instead of Simon Gotch) that really started to feel stale after a while because they've gone over everybody put in front of them for literally three years straight. But as with a lot of other indie feds heading into the '20s, its roster slowly lost more and more big names to WWE and AEW. Then the pandemic came and drove the company to a screeching halt. Recently, however, they've broken their radio silence after almost a year and announced on Twitter that they will be returning to action at some point in 2021. I really hope they can bounce back and become a regular thing again because they deserve it, even if they will always be overshadowed by PWG (who have also recently announced their comeback) as the top SoCal indie promotion."
