[1.0] "Punch, punch, kick, kick, pin, win. There, I just described the gameplay to you. It sucks. No real thought with this game, just mash one button and you'll be cooler then a cucumber. I have no idea what I was thinking when I gave it a 6 a few years back."

[2.0] "King of the ring is a simple button smashing wrestling game. You can do couple of moves but if you keep striking and stomping you'll win every match. Fun feature is that you can edit stats on 'You' chraracter. The roster is unbalanced. Some wrestlers are way more powerful than others. There are better WWF games on game boy."

[2.0] "I find this game funny because of its graphics that looked like a comic book. The wrestlers are no where near what they look like in the game. The moves were great at the time. I find when I play both wrestlers would go down at the same time. I like the roster but that's it. Chessy game and don't get it!"

[4.0] "The worst of the NES games. They tried to emulate the Royal Rumble look on 8-bit and failed miserably. There is a nice selection of wrestlers but the gameplay is meh. The highlight is the King Of The Ring tournament, which is what it is, you win 3 bouts and you're the king. The music is horrific. Overall, it's worth checking out and the pacing of the matches are fine, but I'd avoid it."
