WWE 2K25

[7.0] "As an upgrade from 2k24 to 2k25 it is a pretty solid upgrade despite what people say. The gameplay is still good, the roster is fun to play universe mode with and the career mode is enjoyable with multiple choice. The only thing that muddle this game is the Island which ended up being underwhelming"

[9.0] "I quite like this game, actually. It provides a LOT more features than 2k24. I can't lie, it got me kind of addicted to MyFaction. The showcase is much better. The Island is fun too."

[10.0] "Most fun and addicting PS5 game for me. So many characters. Lots of variety. I enjoy all the modes except for GM. Not many glitches. Full control of the situation. Easy to do a variety of unique moves and mechanics."

[10.0] "2K25 is one of the best wrestling games I've played in a awhile. The roster just keeps expanding, which I love, it gives you an astronomically amount of combinations of matches to have, let alone with the 20+ different match types. The only downfall is 2K's incessant push of MyFaction to unlock new attires or characters"

[6.0] "WWE 2K25 is basically WWE 2K24 but if we took leaps behind in some areas. The menus are okay, nothing too mindblowing. The graphics this year are worse. Defenitely worse. The eyes look somewhat worse and graphically some wrestlers look a bit worse. Gameplay wise, the matches are more fun to play with the reintroduction of Technical Wrestling and Better AIs but that comes with the setback of unrealistic matches. Why is a 62 defeating a 90? Showcase this year is better but I have no motivation to play it. Again, Showcase has locked some items behind it like MyFaction but it is not as bad as 2K24's was. Universe Mode is skippable and I don't have motivation to play MyFaction or My Rise. The Island can go DIE! They removed PC Caws and because of it Community Creations have taken a tumble in quality. Bad face textures and CAWs run rampid through Community Creations. Most Recent was removed and now it's harder to find better CAWs without scrolling through endless menus. Overall, a bit of a let down for me. [***]"

[8.0] "I don't see a huge difference from WWE 2k24 except for the downloadable roster. The fact that we will have Bull Nakano in a WWE game is mind-blowing to me. Gives me hope for a future Jumping Bomb Angels appearance. I have actually played this MyRise so many times, I'm sick of it. But that's what happens when have multiple profiles on your console. I did enjoy the showcase, as well as the MyRise, but they're starting to lock personas behind a pay wall and I'm getting tired of having to grind in a feature I hate with a passion (MyFaction) to get certain personas of wrestlers. I wish they'd stop having alternate attires taking up a CAW spot. It makes no sense if all we're changing is the outfit. But overall, I really like the game."

[7.0] "WWE 2K25 has fun gameplay and solid modes, but weaker graphics, poor CAWs, and The Island drag it down. A step sideways, not forward."

[8.0] "Another solid 2k game, but the first one since Visual Concepts took over that feels like a side grade rather than a big leap forward, lots of nice additions, but a really weak Showcase after how great 2k24's was"

[7.0] "Not the most stable release and the game has some glitches but overall a really decent addition to the franchise. Good MyRise, decent Showcase, fun new features built into MyGM. Would've liked to have seen Universe get a bit of an overhaul but still not bad"

[7.0] "This game has a lot going in it, but I will say its far from bad. The gameplay is actually fun and the presentation is better than in 2K24! Showcase mode and MyRise are fun! However, the Island and MyFaction are big problems. Seriously 2K? Y'all thought we needed another mode with microtransactions? You could've used that development time to update the wrestlers such as John Cena, Raquel Rodriguez, and Shinsuke Nakamura! Overall, its not a bad game as it has some positives, but there are some glaring negatives in the game."
