[4.0] "The first next gen WWE game that suffered from some glitches every now and then. The redeeming quality of this game is the double showcase built into the game (Hustle, Loyalty, Disrespect & Best Friends, Bitter Enemies) and 3 other showcases as DLC."
[4.0] "I have a love-hate relationship with WWE 2K15 as the game does some things right, but at the same time has mind-numbingly huge negatives. The biggest positives the game has are the showcase modes and Who Got NXT mode. While the negatives are the slow gameplay and lack of match types for the current-gen consoles. It was crazy seeing how the last-gen version was actually the superior version IMO."
Schade."
[9.0] "Ok, so I had played this game at PS3. This game is my biggest memory and I think this is why I think the game was so good. I mean, the soundtracks, awesome. This game has best 2k showcases and fine NXT stories. You could have played 30 minutes matches in this game"
[10.0] "Ok maybe for the next gen consoles this game was not that good but for the last gen WWE 2k15 was a masterpiece! Not as good as WWE 2k14 but still a very very solid game because the developers let the same game style as the game from the previours years of course with little adjusments so i think that is the cause that made the game look good on XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3.I remember back in the dat playing with Ryback Cena and Lesnar because theyvwhere my favourites from this game.I player it one time in Xbox one at a friend and i understand why Manu gamers disliked it because is not a good game on PlaySstation 4 and XBOX ONE."
[2.0] "WWE 2K15 was a very odd experience. For the first ever next-gen game for the WWE 2K series, you would expect a very good and new experience, but that was not the case for this game. This game signified 2K finally making the transition from an arcade style gameplay to a simulation style gameplay, similar to what they did with the NBA games. Many staples from previous games were removed on the next-gen port of the game. This included the story creator, move creator, and multiple match types that were mindbogglingly removed. The creation suite for the game was barebones and very depressing to use compared to the prior games. One of the big selling points for this game was the MyCareer, which wasn't even that good. For most of the MyCareer you are just stuck on either NXT, Superstars, or Main Event. Most of the matches that you will play are meaningless and are just to there as filler it felt like. The Showcase was actually very good, with both of the base-game's showcases being executed well. The biggest issue with this game, though, is the actual gameplay. The gameplay just felt very slow and clunky. They introduced a technical aspect of matches, which really is a good idea, but they executed it so poorly. After three matches, you've basically experienced every possible outcome with the technical wrestling start to the match. This is all making this game out to be a bad game, but I haven't even mentioned the bugs that would occur in this game. Overall, it was a total flop on 2K's attempt to transition to a simulation-based style and soured many players on the future of 2K games."
[2.0] "Such a bare bones ass game. Just a step down in every way from the excellent 2k14. They messed up the universe mode which is usually my main mode I play in these games. Women's wrestlers got so little in this one too. No create a women's wrestler and like 5 women included in general. The career mode ended after you win the WWE title and often you get stuck in midcard hell. I'm so glad I waited for the PC version but even then it wasn't worth the cost admission not even close to it."
"Everybody told that WWE 2K20 is the worst game, but in my opinion, it's this one, loading times are really long for nothing, CAWS are horrible, and not really interesting modes."
[6.0] "To be honest, the only reason to buy this game is its amazing graphics, other than that it's a very cut-down game that needs to be updated with content."
[8.0] "Based on next gen. This game is great especially the roster. It is a good game sure they took out the features that we like and love but I see that as building up as the years go on. Only thing crap is mycareer it has no value to it"
[3.0] "Man this game was a big disappointing back in 2014. I bought a PS4 just for this game. Completly waste of money and after a week, I sold the game on the PlayStation 4 again. I'll never make such a mistake again. Graphics were horribly. Wrestlers looked like cartoon caricatures than there real self. God thanks that WWE 2K16 was a good game."
[0.0] "A huge step down and let down from 2K14, we were on a next gen console annnnd they took out almost everything, I'm surprised there was even a game left."
[8.0] "A very good wrestling game, the best in my opinion among all WWE2K. Of the minuses, I would note an incomplete career, and not the biggest roster. From the pluses: 2 good showcases, improved graphics, gameplay, music."
[7.0] "I appreciated the gameplay overhaul for the current gen aswell as the new graphics. Career mode wasn't great but it was at least something new and I enjoyed the ruthless aggression era HBK/HHH showcase as that time period doesn't get covered a lot. It also had the debut of the creation suite. There were missing features for the PS4 version such as create an arena and certain match types, but I rarely play exhibition these days so it didn't bother me."
[2.0] "A very disappointing and subpar game. Most of the game modes from the previous games were gutted, the roster was reduced greatly and the MyCareer mode was a repetitive slog with very little incentive to play through. The gameplay is also glitchy as hell. I understand that sacrifices have to made when porting a series to a brand new console generation, but if they were going to remove this much, they should have atleast delayed it to work out the kinks. A very poor first game for the new generation of consoles that did not live up to the hype at all."
[5.0] "Decent game werent that good but the use of NXT was great Mycareer was okay but barron GAME weren? t that hard Legend was easy but the mycareer isn? t easy when John Cena face your 57 rated career at mainevent"
[1.0] "Hey guys, remember when the screenshots of this game looked absolutely phenomenal and looked so realistic and looked better than what was expected at the time? Haha, ah yeah. Me too. Remember when the game came out and it was a literal piece of trash? Me too! Glitchy, buggy, broken. 2K Showcase was pretty bad, and the fact that this was CM Punks last game is pathetic,"
[2.0] "I remember getting this for the Xbox 360 and I was absolutely disgusted whenever I played this. Coming off 2K14, I thought this would be a great game. Boy was I wrong. I was shocked at how much the 360 and PS3 got the shaft. The best modes at the time were for XB1 and PS4 and even those were horrible. NXT Mode sucked, Cena Mode Sucked. Only thing I like about this game was some songs form the soundtrack, but they weren't many good ones. Worst WWE Game I've ever played."
[7.0] "For next gen, this was a good start but was disappointing to see some features I liked in the previous games omitted, mainly Story Designer. The two Showcase modes were fun and nostalgic but the DLC Showcases, particularly "Path Of The Warrior, " made the game for me. Yes, it was extra but worth it. Not the best but not horrible either."
[6.0] "WWE 2K15 was missing quite a bit noticable names. NXT Mode was very fun. Proving Ground sucked (A lot). 2K Showcase mode was pretty fun I really liked the Cena Vs Punk Showcase. Universe mode wasnt that fun this game. And creation sweet was pretty bad as no create a finisher was in it. Overall I have put over 300 hours into this game."
[5.0] "Very disappointing game. It was the first game of the PS4/XBOX ONE generation, and it just didn't live up to the hype. The gameplay is actually fine, and I enjoy the new features in it, but the online is absolutely ruined. The whole background matchmaking literally ruins half of the game for me, and that's why it gets a low rating from me."
[7.0] "A very hated game, due to the lack of features and the depletion of the roster. But it was a platform for the next gen of WWE Games. It changed the wrestling video game forever."
Schade..."
[2.0] "Not a good game. Too many of the good features of previous games were removed and the counter system where the CPU can all of a sudden kill you after you've been winning the whole match is just absurd. One of the worst games I've ever played."
[7.0] "I understand people hate on this game however I enjoyed it despite the large number of contents missing. This game have a great graphic and I like the new gameplay. 2K worked hard on scanning rosters face and putting the Showcase together (except some DLC showcase). To be honest, this was 2k first wrestling game and I can see WWE 2k16 be a better game."
[3.0] "The worst game in the SmackDown/SvR/WWE/WWE2K serious, hands down. It focuses WAY too much on "dem graphics" and instead strips away fun and creativity that gives the game longevity. MyCareer is repetitive and bare, Universe mode bores me to tears with uncreative rivalries (that don't even work half of the time. I usually end up with a glitch that says that "0 weeks remain" and can't create a new feud without dropping the current one), and Showcase mode is a run-of-the-mill campaign mode. Not to mention, you run out of things to do very quickly once you realize that there's only a few match types and a bare-bones creative suite. The overall roster isn't bad and I was very excited to see NXT stars get a spot, but it doesn't hold a candle to 2K14 or HCTP and even leaves out many NXT stars I would've loved to play as (Tyler Breeze, Charlotte, Sasha Banks). And don't even get me started on the GOD-AWFUL online. Simply put: It doesn't work. Small nitpicks also drag this game down, such as the Season Pass that excludes some packs, glitches and bugs (Superstars that have the Hardcore title will be announced as World Heavyweight champions... ), and the controversy over Chris Benoit CAWs. This game is honestly the first WWE game I trade in and I hope that 2K builds upon the foundation set by 2K15 to make the next games in the series phenomenal masterpieces. But for now, WWE2K15 shifted its focus from the fun and creativity that helped give life and longevity to past games and focused on graphics, controls, and false promises."
[7.0] "Edit 18. 03.
[5.0] "For the "last gen" version the graphics remains the same, they cut a good part of the creative mode, there are cases of repeated characters (Del Rio & Del Rio '11/Punk & Punk '11), and even here on Chile its more expensive than WWE 2K14. This year were more abusive with the DLC, at least they could put Hogan on the beggining approaching his return."
[2.0] "Too much got cut out this year. The only praise is MyCareer Mode, but it also gets boring. Lease they could do is has the Divas CAWs be more creative instead of duplicate. Also, had high hopes for the MyCareer Mode, but now this mode has even let me down. I've gave 4-star or better matches like she said, but still got a fail and the thing said, "Give 4 or better. " I gave 4 and a half the 1st 2, and then 2 5's, but still got fucked over. This game is so crappy, I pull out my PS3, and jump on TNA Impact. The only good thing bout this game is getting Ultimate Warrior, everything else is just the same old bullshit plus things that got all of our hopes up, but were even bigger pieces of shit. This game is an EPIC FAIL!"
