I get that they need world title challengers like Kitamiya who don't grab this belt as a consolation prize for someone in the main event scene but not quite there, but it was the perfect opportunity to give it to some people NOAH have been really hesitant on pulling the trigger on like Inamura. OZAWA throwing the title away when he won it was a big mistake because who the hell wants a title when the champion vacated it instantly because it was beneath them?"
[5.0] "First off, the design of the GHC National Championship is absolutely gorgeous. This title was pretty good for the first couple years until NOAH decided to go full NOAH and ruin it with multiple old men that basically no sell and squash people a thousand time more talented than them. The last few years have done nothing to make me care about this title again, with atrocious champions like Fujita, Morris, HAYATA or Funaki when fresh and talented dudes like Inamura and Kitamiya were red hot. Same goes for Soya who should've this years ago. The last time this title felt prestigious was when Kenoh held it for the second time but unfortunately NOAH went full NOAH and decided to job him out in 3 min to a 53 year old Funaki, ever since then this title has been nothing but a shadow of its former self."

Thankfully, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Jack Morris were next two champions, at the right place, right time and with right circumstances for them, they use it as a stepping stone to elevate their careers to new heights."
[8.0] "Extremely reliable, consistent championship since its creation. Sugiura, Nakajima, and Kenoh each defined the title and its niche as one for NOAH? s brand of hard-hitting wrestlers. Defences like Tanaka vs. Sugiura and Kenoh? s two time limit draws were among the best matches of recent NOAH history. Currently, the title is under its weakest prolonged reign with Masakatsu Funaki, who has a lot of legitimacy but has had mostly dull defences and seems to be pretty direction-less. Beautiful design."
[9.0] "The GHC National Championship is a gorgeous belt with good title matches behind it and i expect that they continue on the right path with it. The former and current champions are former GHC Heavyweight Champions, but i expect that someone like Masa Kitamiya and Shuhei Taniguchi to win it, as i don't see them winning the main prize of the promotion, and also guys like Yoshiki Inamura and Daisuke Harada can have a run with it before they can reach bigger goals (GHC Heavyweight)."
[10.0] "This belt is beautiful. The red leather makes the title pop with the design. The center plate has the Japanese flag as part of its design. It blends in very well. It also reminds you that the belt can only be defended in Japan. This title really sets NOAH apart from the other top Puroresu companies. Takashi Sugiura's as the first champion was great, a quick reign with Katsuhiko Nakajima helped establish the title as well. The title looks almost designed specifically for the 3rd Champion, Kenoh. His matches has made the title a personal favorite."
