[5.0] "This championship has its ups and downs Jericho was a very good champion. Moxleys reign was good Omega reign was great But then you have Punks reigns which sucked due to injury. Mjf started out good but fizzled out towards the end. Joe felt like a place holder. Swave didn't feel like a world champion because of the elite angle. Danielson had a very underwhelming reign. And Moxley 4th reign easily his worst."

There are just too many outstanding wrestlers on the roster to justify one guy having the belt for years. This is the thoroughbred championship of professional wrestling. This isn't a title that can be won with aura alone. If you can't go in the ring you are not winning this belt."

[10.0] "The Belt in the best wrestling company in the world. Mox became one of the greatest heels in modern wrestling because he hid the title from the audience. No other belt is like this. No other belt could be held hostage by a wrestler and create genuine heat that doesn't make people turn off the TV. Mox is him and the lineage is incredible. Even the mess in 2022 was never enough to ruin the title. Punk for all his petty bullshit was still a worthy world champ. With how stacked and young the main event of aew currently is, the belt will only continue to be the single top prize in the western world."

Hangman freeing the belt at All In worked great I must admit, still it was a really boring run Moxley had. However the title lineage is very strong so I'm giving this a high score. This title has always been treated as the top prize and for the most part it had the prestige that you'd expect from it. Great lineage aside from the nonsense in 2022. However this current Deathriders and Moxley stupidity is killing the prestige that they've built over the past couple of years. It's one of the worst things that I've ever seen from AEW and it sucks that this gorgeous looking title that had importance got wrapped around it. I'll update my score to a higher one once garbage Mox is gone."

[9.0] "The AEW World Championship is the second-most respected world championship in the United States/Canada and tied with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE's World Heavyweight Championship in regards to prestige. The title has massively improved as far as international visibility within the past year and has elevated itself to deserving the billing of world title."

[9.0] "AEW's most important and prestigious championship, almost every title reign has been good and significant to AEW's overall story. I've loved the stories from Kenny Omegas ''belt collector'' gimmick, to MJFs year long reign, to Swerves epic workhorse champion run."

"Surprisingly this world title is prestigious, not a singular bad person crowned as champion but we did have terrible reigns unforunately that we're either plagued by injuries or too short of a reign. Even if they we're too short, it was a great crowning moment for whoever, def a top 3 world title imo."

There has been so many great names who have held this title like Jericho, Moxley, Omega, Punk, MJF, Swerved, Danielson etc. We've also gotten many great feuds from with this title like Jericho Vs Cody, Moxley Vs MJF, Moxley Vs Omega, Omega Vs Christian, Punk Vs Moxley, MJF Vs Danielson and so many others. I would have rated this a 10 however Moxley's current title reign has made the title feel less important and be not as exciting to see the world championship matches."

[9.0] "Currently, I'd call the AEW Title the most-prestigious championship in the world, but the Deathriders storyline is certainly having me question this. Regardless of the horrible Deathriders storyline, (which has been going on for nearly seven months at the time of writing, ) and the two debacles of reigns CM Punk had, this belt still has the best matches, the highest stakes, the best storylines, and has an unmatched lineage of names in its short history. While I fault Tony Khan for many things, I cannot fault him for how he's treated his world title since AEW's inception. Also, this design is by far the prettiest-looking belt in all of wrestling right now."

[8.0] "AEW has succeed in making all of the title matches a must watch on any given card, and with a list of iconic champions and reigns you cant deny the prestige this title has. However, ever since MJF's reign it feels like the title has lost a little of it's prestige, Swerve and Joe had okay reigns but not great compared to the past and hiccups are too be expected, but Danielson and Moxley have be disaster, not at the fault of Danielson, he was given a rough hand with Perry. But Moxley on the other hand is completely too blame for his horrendous storyline and for that I'm knocking it down to an 8. The design is amazing and may be the best CURRENT design of any world title."

Didn't love the hotshotting of the title in the Punk days with Moxley, but they've done a great job of never choosing an unworthy champion, and booking this tile like its important always"

[9.0] "I don't watch AEW shows at all, but I do follow the news about this company from time to time. My assessment is based on objective data. The company is a direct main competitor of WWE, which once helped WWE to move, to go somewhere in a different direction, which improved the quality of content compared to 2018-2019. The title was held by Chris Jericho - an absolute legend, a man of ideas. The title also helped Isaiah Scott achieve recognition, which he could not do in WWE. I am aware of the dark times when CM Punk held the title, but there were many such times with the WWE title. The only reason I do not give it a 10 is its age. Yes, the title is young, it did not have time to give birth to stars who would be on everyone's lips now. Well, maybe only Swerve. The rest were already stars"

[9.0] "For all the flack I give AEW, they've kept their title belt really consistent. CM Punk was obviously the worst of them all, but even then, it wasn't exactly his fault, and his matches were actually really good! The fact that I can't just say that my favourite champion's Jon Moxley or MJF or Chris Jericho astounds me in a way, because they've all been so consistently amazing. Pretty much all of the matches for the belt are as great as they should be, and this belt will always deserve the respect it gets. Happy late 5 years to this belt, and I hope for a bright future for this magnificent belt."

[8.0] "This belt only has a few years of history, some of which is tied to the dumb CM Punk drama and interim situation. However, there is no denying that some quality matches have taken place with this title. Champions like Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley have made this title worthwhile with several good matches, and even transitional champions like Swerve and Samoa Joe have done well. At the very least, there is no denying that this is the best belt in AEW by a wide margin."

[9.0] "Might be the most prestigious title in the world, only issue is punks 2 reigns, but even with that the lineage is perfect"

[10.0] "5 years in, this title is reaching only its 12th overall reign and 9th overall champion. Honestly as far as early years for a world title goes, this one has been pretty excellent even in AEW's weaker moments. Jericho's first reign only existed to plaster his stardom on the company and give young guys a heel to chase, and to that end it did its job. Mox carried the company through COVID on the back of raw work ethic and promo work, and Omega's reign is lauded for good reason since he managed to have his signature workrate while squarely working heel and having several great defenses and ultimately finishing the story the company was built upon and anointing Page. Hangman's reign gets dragged a little too much I think, his promos leading up to and during it were mostly great and he had some excellent defenses for the relatively short runtime. Punk being given the title while he was white hot was not a bad call, nobody could've expected the turmoil that his injuries and altercations would have caused. Mox carrying the company through a second period of hardship even if most of it isn't in the record books should be praised, he covered for both the injury and suspension of Punk to make the main event feel big regardless, and was willing to put both Punk & MJF over during that. MJF's reign started out pretty excellently all the way up through the early stages of the Cole angle (that Danielson Iron Man, holy hell), but as it went on it started to become Codyverse 2.0: This Time It's 90s Booking, so I'm glad that right as that shit started to get really tired they realized it didn't need the belt anymore and gave it to the veteran on a hotstreak in Samoa Joe, who at his current level is a great boon to the title's lineage (not just in terms of workrate & promos & star power, but the fact that he's playing the lead on a decently popular TV series at the same time). I had knocked my rating down to a 9 because of the Punk debacle and the last few months of the MJF run, but Joe overdelivering even in minor angles as champion and bringing both prestige and physicality back to the title in his usual way followed by Swerve keeping that up in his own fresh way with excellent character work and very good matches across the board, ultimately dropping it to the GOAT Bryan Danielson at a 50k+ attendee Wembley show in one of the best matches ever worked, all of that easily makes up for those issues. Ultimately, in 5 years this title has at most had ~4 truly bad months, and with Danielson as champion we're going to get more quality for the foreseeable future."

[10.0] "One of the most solid championships with a great lineup of stars to hold the belt. Jericho was a decent first champion, Mox had an amazing reign with 11 defenses. Omega and Hangman's reigns were awesome. Punk's reign never got a chance but he still brought eyes to TV with the belt. MJF had one of the greatest reigns of all time. Joe was a very solid champion and Swerve has been an awesome champion. Overall great championship."

[9.0] "Belt looks beautiful looks like an actual championship belt great design. So far it's been 11 World Champions in AEW which is not bad my favourite reign is probably the Kenny Omega Belt Collector run which was probably the best championship reign. The MJF reign was kind of getting annoying but looking back it was a great run overall. Yes it has a small lineage that's because it's only 5 years old but the first 4 championship reigns were amazing. In the Future I do want to see Jay White, Darby Allen, and Will Ospreay win the Championship. Overall a great championship for now."

[9.0] "I was thinking to rate 10 but then I remembered CM Punk was champion. I'm not criticizing this decision but it's obvious he couldn't do nothing with it thanks to his fragile body. Moreover it's a shame he won twice, but I understand this choice too... unfortunately, leaving aside his body, Punk is an idiot too. However, there was no bad reings so far. The least interesting was Page, even if his build up was good and Joe was a last minute replacement and he did great, demonstrating his career is far from over."

[8.0] "It is a beautiful looking Championship. While it has no lineage, many who held the Title were former world Champions, with Chris Jericho being the very first Champion. Omega had the best Championship reign, Moxley won it the most times although his second and third reign were merely transitional, Adam Page established himself with this title, CM Punk won the Championship twice and twice he ruined long term storytelling, he was easily the worst Champion .The best match over this championship is MJF Vs Bryan Danielson in an Iron Man match which is also one of the best singles match in AEW's young history."

[10.0] "The best championships and the best champions represent their promotion wordlessly. For a championship with only eight unique champions that hasnt even lasted five years, "Big Plat" has already solidified itself as the top of the mountain in a place that prides itself for being the home of the best in-ring action. Jericho as an inaugural champion was an inspired choice to give the title legitimacy, and every champion - yes, even Punk! - since has woven a unique story that just adds to the belts prestige. Even challenging for the title, for the most part, gives the challenger legitimacy; just look at Omega vs. Perry, MJF vs. Starks, or Joe vs. Hook. The title feels less like a prop for television and more like the accolade it should be: if AEW truly is Where The Best Wrestle (TM), then you need to prove you are The Best of The Best to carry the belt on your shoulder. And they've had an absolutely phenomenal hit rate so far. Long may it continue."

[9.0] "[9.4] Setting aside the two nothing punk reigns, this is a shockingly well-handled world championship, given its age. It's got a good lineage of some of the best names of their respective generations, and overall fantastic matches. The title has rarely, if ever, felt like it wasn't a big deal. For reference, it's weakest point was probably the tail end of 2023 with MJF's reign getting swept up by the Devil storyline, but even then, it still felt like a big, coveted prize."

[10.0] "Currently one of my favorite belts in wrestling. An absolutely beautiful belt that's been mostly booked quite well, minus some low points here and there. So far, every champion has deserved that run, with every champion being a good to great to some of the best. It already has a massive amount of value and meaning in its near 5 year long history. It had a bit of a low point at the end of 2023, but with Swerve winning the belt, and with a bunch of the new talent that's in AEW, I'm more than excited to see what comes next."

[9.0] "One of the best active world titles in wrestling. A very rich history that is filled with past and current greats. I loved every reign and I truly feel that it would be a 10 if not for the latter of the CM Punk reigns and the late stage of MJFs run. But besides that it has been nothing but a incredible title that really makes you feel something when it's on the line. And when Ospreay wins the title at Wembley it will be incredible."

[10.0] "One of the most prestigous title in all of pro wrestling right now: the first three champions and title regins (Jericho, Moxley and Omega) were awesome, with lots of great matches and great storielynes bulit around that title. Page's title win at Full Gear is one of the best moments in AEW's history but his title reign was underwhelming altough he had classic matches against Danielaon and Cole. Punk and Moxley's title exchanges hurt the prestige of the title but since MJF has won it at Full Gear 2022 the title felt important once again with awesome matches and storylines. Currently Samoa Joe is having a really good title reign. Also from an aesthetic point of view the title is beautiful."

"The AEW World Championship has been kept special and made to feel like a real prize since its inception. At the time of writing this, there have been ten reigns by seven different wrestlers. Each reign has had a unique feel to it and has been made to enhance the wrestler holding the title. Chris Jericho, for instance, was 'Le Champion', and wrestled a variety of people we'd never seen him against up to that point. Kenny Omega's reign as the 'belt collector' was extremely memorable and encapsulated by his eventual loss to former tag team partner Adam Page, who was cemented as one of the top acts of the company when he won the title. Page would go on to have classic matches against Bryan Danielson and CM Punk. There's never been a moment where the title has felt like a prop. Even outside the realm of the television show, fans give credence to the importance of the title, understanding if an up-and-coming star were to win it, it would change their life and career entirely. I'm not sure a World Championship has had that kind of feel to it since at least the early 2000s, if not long before that."

[5.0] "I don't think in the few years this title has existed that the linage is that strong, with Page being the worst world champions since Jinder Mahal. There was also the strange situation with Punk, which put a damper on a whole lot of things happening with AEW. MJF is a great wrestler, but I felt like his reign was really brought down by him having to defend The ROH Tag Team Championship on the same nights he was defending The World Title. I don't think Moxley or Omega were great champions either. We'll see about Joe, but honestly Chris Jericho is the only wrestler who had a great title reign, and it brought a lot of promise to the title in its inception."

[9.0] "Toss out the bullshit around Punk's two worthless reigns and this belt has an immaculate pedigree. Jericho, Mox, and Omega all put in work to elevate this title. Hangman's reign was solid but overshadowed. MJF's reign has been the only one to equal the prestige of Omega, but it sadly ended on a bit of a whimper due to Cole's injury marring the story that they were telling. Joe can be a great champ though, he has tremendous gravitas and has many potential fresh match ups. Can't go the full ten because of the awful interim booking."

[7.0] "MJF lost the belt quite unceremoniously after over a year as reigning champion which definitely doesnt get Joe's reign off to the best start. Being involved with the devil storyline also hurt the belts image imo. The belt could finally be on the up again with some new challengers on the way and hopefully some better stories."

"The AEW world title lost some of itsprestige with MJFs year long reign. It felt as if Christian Cages run with the TNT title felt more world champion. With Joe just winning the championship, lets see where this goes."

[10.0] "Had a long day, it's past 1am, tired and yet I screamed like a little girl while watching this match. Every moves were executed to perfection. Even the accidental little missteps, is what made this match so organic. Kenny Omega is world class. Ospreay is world class. Danielson is world class. And now add MJF, who in his first year as a world champion proved to the doubters that he is in the 1% of the top wrestlers in the world. An absolute masterpiece of a match."

[10.0] "This belt has been won by 6 people in a 4 year span this company been around the prestige for this belt is crazy this is how a World Title should feel. MJF is the best champion ever hold the Triple B's. I'm hoping they don't change the formula for people holding the belt"

[10.0] "When this belt is defended, it's a big deal. When the belt changes hands, it's a momentous shift in the company and the pro wrestling landscape. The only blight on its legacy is CM Punk's two reigns. For my money, however, nothing in the current wrestling landscape can match the prestige and entertainment value of Omega's reign during the 2021 and MJF's current reign. In both of those reigns, every defense of the belt was an in-ring masterpiece, and every story delivered."

Things started to stale a bit after Hangman lost the title to CM Punk, but now with MJF's reign, prestige has returned to the belt, finally returning the belt back to it's initial prestige. Hope to see Bryan Danielson win the belt at least once before he retires."

"A prestigious belt with some great reigns already in its short history, most notably the first three reigns and the beginning of Hangman's time as champion, which saw those two fantastic matches versus Bryan Danielson. After Hangman's victory against Danielson his booking as champion took a rapid downward path ending in that shambolic feud and match against CM Punk. Punk's two reigns as champion were complete embarrassments which damaged the standing of this title as well as AEW's reputation. The interim champion idea could've worked but booking face v face was a total of waste of what could've been a half decent storyline. I think by and large MJF's restored some of the shine to the belt, not least with that classic iron man match v Danielson. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here. It would be great to see either Will Ospreay or Jay White as the next champion. If not then I'd love to see Swerve win it."

[9.0] "In my opinion the belt with the most value in Wrestling a few years ago.. Punk and Moxley kind of ruined the credibility a bit by hot potatoing it and Tony Khan is one for silly hot shot booking but this a belt that he usually protects and treats with a genuine amount of respect and the booking of *most* title matches and way this belt is presented makes it by far one of the best belts in pro wrestling."

[7.0] "Another belt that's been hindered by injuries and puzzling booking but thanks to the star power it's mostly managed to succeed regardless. I wasn't a fan personally of the first few years but I appreciate the importance it generated itself and it generally had the big match feel. Often in wrestling, the worker makes the title, so immediately it felt more prestigious when Punk came in, even if the match situation descended into a complete mess. The MJF reign started out great but again has begun to suffer the same fate with booking."

[8.0] "Belt has a great look, it just hasn't been around long enough to build up prestige. The only thing holding it back from being higher ranked is the relatively uneventful reign of MJF(through no fault of his own) and the debacle between Punk and Moxley"

[9.0] "A gorgeous looking title belt with a short but nearly perfect pedigree in terms of its booking and champions, marred only by the nonsense with Punk and the resulting interim bullshit. Jericho gave this belt immediate legitimacy, Mox was a devoted workhorse. Kenny Omega had the company's greatest title reign so far despite suffering tremendously at the time, and Hangman represented the next generation and fought fiercely against top guys like Danielson. The title booking went awry when Tony cared more about strapping up CM Punk as fast as possible than properly booking Adam Page. Obviously Punk suffered from multiple injuries and a suspension that resulted in the title's dubious ownership dragging on for months, and was a black eye on the company in general. MJF has made the belt his own and recently worked hard to show that he does value his position at the top, possessively guarding it by hook or by crook. No idea who will dethrone him, but hopefully a lesson has been learned from 2022, and I believe they can continue to elevate this title."

[9.0] "the most prestigious world title in modern day pro wrestling. it had a rough stretch with Mox and Punk trading the belt but Mox put the company on his back in his third reign. i can't give it a 10 for its young history but the lineage has been incredible so far. Jericho, Mox, Kenny, Hangman, Punk and now MJF. the future is looking real bright."

[7.0] "EDIT - I had this title at a 9 and considered it one of the best World Titles in wrestling, but after how this year has gone with this belt I have to drop it down to a 7. Punk ending Page's reign prematurely (Page still had storylines with PAC, Jericho & Mox that should have been addressed while Champion), Punk's injury and the interim championship nonsense and then Punk & Mox title flip-flopping back and forth. I feel like the AEW World Championship has taken a big hit this year and it needs some love again."

[2.0] "Similar to the TNT title earlier this year, the booking for this title since Punk won it the first time has been completely baffling. All the interim bullshit, Punk getting squashed then winning it back 2 weeks later, then he gets into a backstage scuffle and vacates, it's just a mess. At one point this belt felt important, but those days are long gone now."
