WWE Women's Tag Team Championship

[5.0] "Since summer 2024 WWE has been trying so hard put some credibility into the WWE women's tag titles and Division. The stars that have held these belt is amazing. They need an Asuka or Shayna NXT title run and amazing battles to actually make these titles credible. Fingers crossed that the attention on the division continues."

[4.0] "Glad they made the title, but it has not been treated correctly or booked like it was important. Multiple random tag teams form and win it. Most title reigns were shorter than they should have been. Hoping the relaunch of the title will be a turning point. UPDATE: in the second half of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 division has been doing great."

[7.0] "Just in the past year or so WWE have seemed to put some real effort into these titles backed by some significant star power and it's really helped the titles lineage and credibility. It's genuinely felt important and hotly contested for the first time in it's lifespan."

[7.0] "The last few years WWE has tried to make these titles relevant by having title matches in NXT, Smackdown and RAW. There have been some really popular women's wrestlers to hold these titles and decent matches have been had. Definitely a way better tag team division than the RAW men's one."

[9.0] "Recently the Women's WWE tag team division has been on fire. Big names, like Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Kabuki Warriors(ASuka and Kairi Sane), Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, even Nia Jax has given more effort for the division than her usual work(mostly thanks to Lash Legend.) There is much hope for the titles and the match have all been extremely fun. Now all that remains is a six tag teams, TLC match at wrestlemania for the titles."

[0.0] "Any championship that is "won" by simply handing over the title to someone who didn't compete to win it is worthless, or championships being defended by people who are not the champion, and that's happened way too often in such a short span of time. There has been no shortage of short, forgettable reigns. The title has had no direction since it was introduced. I mean, did they really need to give Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez a pointless two week reign before being beaten by the team they beat in order to win the titles in the first place -- with absolutely no storyline attached? That was the biggest indicator that they didn't really care what was going on with them. Mostly slapped together teams, and has been the lazy catalyst of those big women's matches at WrestleMania where they're just trying to get everyone on the card. Don't want to see them deactivated, because it's not like there is an over-abundance of time for women on WWE programming, but we need to start from scratch and make something meaningful!"

[9.0] "Very, very, very underrated and misunderstood championships. The overall booking was very decent, consistent, with some good surprises and woth all the big names in the company winning this titles; plus the design is one of the best in the WWE today. Ps. Like it or not, this are very important to the all female division - more TV time, more matches, more storylines, more championship reigns, more prestige and more legacy!"

"Definitely moving in the right direction, Evolution proved that there is a division that could be sustainable but WWE needs to capitalize and put it on PLEs. Realistically this will only happen if the 5 match card gets ditched, but a healthy division is a big step towards women's and men's wrestling becoming equally recognized."

[0.0] "A title with no prestige lot of short run and the tag division are pretty chaotic they have amazing wrestler but lot of tag team are just two popular solo wrestler together just for win the title and just after separate and try to catch a more important solo title it look like a time waste for the talent involved"

[9.0] "don't know why this title has such a low rate here, because this title is one of the main titles on the women's division and that's the reason that many tag teams has formed in the first place"

[6.0] "I believe these titles are finally heating up. There's some stories being told now, some genuine star making moments too. The only real down point in the last year or so was the Alba and Isla reign, not their fault at all, but felt like such a placeholder and took some heat out of the whole division. However I think the upward trend starts here if the booking is good"

[4.0] "Here's the problem with this title. On one hand you have great matches that came from The Boss 'N' Hug Connection, Damage ctrl, The Kabuki Warriors, and Bianca & Jade. While on the other hand, you have more entertaining rivalries that came from Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez. Iiconics and Chelsea green & Piper Niven. Most of the women matches were less than 10 minutes. As of right now I think it's fair to rate it a 2.25/5"

[2.0] "The WWE Women's Tag Team Titles did have some importance and relevancy when the likes of Boss N Hug (Sasha and Bayley), Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi), IYO and Kai of Damage CTRL and Belair and Cargill held them, but the booking and most of the matches contested over the titles are just awful, most of the tag champions were mostly thrown together, unifying them with the NXT Tag Titles was stupid and WWE women's tag wrestling has never been that good before the titles even became a thing."

[2.0] "The 2nd worst title division in the company. Bianca and Jade are carrying the hell out of a sorry division. Damage CTRL has been good and the only reason Iyo has been a tag specialist is because Asuka and Dakota are out, and the division would mean way less without her. Other tag teams include the horrible PFC, Unholy Union, which have really lost a lot of luster since losing the titles, and KC2 who's not long-term title contenders apart from a decent in-ring skillset. Unless some NXT callups happen soon, this division will stay at a very low point."

[3.0] "This is the first title I am rating.The women's division definitely needed tag belts but they don't seem to have the roster to capacitate.At this moment, the only proper tag teams are PFC, Unholy Union and Damage CTRL.Apart from that, it's thrown together combos that aren't recognised tag teams.They have been massively mistreated and it's getting to the point with where I want as sad as it sounds, is for them to be retired.And that's not because of the title, it's because WWE doesn't have enough women for a proper women's tag team division.Unfortunately, overall, this gets a really low rating as a title."

[7.0] "A title that is good for 3 teams, Damage CTRL, Kabuki Warriors, and Boss N Hug. Currently, the belts are relevant as of this writing because of the star power of Bianca Belair, but ultimately this is a belt that is kinda there. If no other teams other than Damage CTRL/Kabuki Warriors held the belts from now until the end of the time, it would still be more prestigious than it is now. Naomi and Sasha killed a lot of the momentum of the belt for years."

[0.0] "One of the most pointless, unneeded, and poorly booked championships in recent wrestling history. If they got rid of these belts, nothing of value would be lost. If WWE wants an excuse to book more women's matches, then they should attempt to actually build up stars in the division instead of booking matches between ladies with no chemistry for a belt that nobody in the audience cares about."

[6.0] "Look, historically, they haven't been treated all that well. But I think Bianca and Jade will bring them to some kind of relevance in this reign. There's also a few credible tag teams in the division now for them to come up against (Kayden/Katana, Indi/Candice etc.)"

[2.0] "Here's a set of titles that WWE thought would be successful and valuable. Unfortunately, in just a span of 5 years, half a decade in to it's existence, these titles are just pointless and unvaluable with how the booking is. I don't blame WWE for trying something new back in 2019, these felt fresh then given the first champions were Sasha and Bayley who had established themselves as fan favorites, but as soon as The IIconics won the titles, it took a downhill turn from there and it's been just downhill forever it seems. Now that Cargill and Belair are champions, hopefully these titles will take an upturn and become relevant again but I seriously doubt it, given how the booking is. They have some really good tag teams currently, but the booking is just not there whatsoever."

[0.0] "Absolutely pointless titles. No one cares about them, no one cares who has them, it's a waste of time. The only way these would work is if the women had their own show, which they should. As it stands they do not and I don't remember the last time I watched a women's tag title match."

[10.0] "The tittle have gotten so much better than it was. in the pademmic Sasha, Bayley, Shayna, and Nia were the best tag team champions. They were so good at that era and then ofc it went down. It would have gotten higher when Sasha and Naomi, but you know. I know that Jade and Belair are going to elevate these championships so much. I do also wish that wwe had some secondary titles but overall we have gotten a lot of good matches wth these titles, a lot of bad ones too, but that cant overshadow some of there better matches. The titles do seem cursed, caused a lot of wrestlers get injured, but look they adapted with Chelsea. That was some of the best segments, i know that they didnt defnd the titles a lot, but it was still entertaining. They shoudl defend the titles more on PPV but overall this year the Kabuki warriors and Kayden and katana have a lot."

[5.0] "The Kabuki Warriors have saved these titles, there current run are even better than their previous one which is odd considering they were far better wrestlers in 2019-2020"

[4.0] "When these titles were announced, I was honestly delighted. When Sasha and Bayley won them, I was even more excited. Unfortunately, these titles have very rarely been respected. Good teams have been disbanded, too often they've been given to two random superstars with no connection or history. Too many teams have never or almost never defended them. Aside from Asuka/Kairi, Sasha/Bayley, or more recently Damage Control, these titles were never glorious, and the teams that owned them were never able to really shine."

[7.0] "I have mixed feeling about this title because I really thnik it had a huge potential. Howewer, it exists for nearly 5 years and the only memorable reigns were Kabuki Warriors, Sasha and Bayley and Shayna and Nia. I think Piper and Chelsea were also kinda entertaining. I hope that WWE will start treating this championship seriously by giving it regular PPV defences. I believe KCKC, aka Katana and Kayden will have a good reign with PPV matches."

[6.0] "I think the titles are alright, they have had some bad title holders, but it's a supporting title, it's to be expected. Chelsea Green was comical, it gives Kairi and Asuka a title to hold. I feel it has some bad luck with Liv Morgan and Sonya Deville, but overall, not too bad of a champion."

[0.0] "There was potential for the womens tag titles to be something, and it looked like it had a good trajectory with the first two sets of champions. After that, it was crystal clear to anyone watching that there were no actual womens tag teams besides the ones that won the titles, and they scrambled to form all these new teams that had almost no chemistry. Im hoping that if they are keeping the title, that kayden carter and katana chance can revive it, but at this point in time, there have only been a small handful of decent champions, and not a great future in sight."

[2.0] "These titles shouldn't exist. This title just seems to be an injury hazard. Someone tends to always get injured when competing for these titles. I think it just shows how weak the main roster's women's titles are in comparison to the NXT ones. Just pray for 2024 to have a good year of storylines for the women as well."

[3.0] "These are probably some of the most poorly booked titles of all time. So much talent has held these titles, yet there has not been one decent reign, solely because of booking. When Sasha and Bayley became the inaugural champions, they should have given them a long reign or a credible feud to establish the belt, like the Gail/Kong feud with the Knockouts title, yet they had them lose to the IIconics at WM, and the IIconics did nothing with the belts at all. Same with the Kabuki Warriors, who didn't do much with them despite being probably the best in-ring champs of them all, until losing to Alexa/Nikki. Also, a ton of short, nothing reigns either because of booking or injuries."

[2.0] "These things need to go, there is no devision for women's tag titles in WWE. Sure you may have Chance & Carter, Isla and Alba, and the Karens, but overall those are the only real teams that arent just thrown together piles of crap in this devision. Either hire more womens tag teams like the Icconics, bring back Laycool and stuff like that, or just give up. Everyone you have put these things on has gotten hurt, theyre a waist of tv time thats never worth anything more than just another quick evenness thing to make womens wrestling feel equal, which in some ways it it, but there isnt enough of a devision for these things anymore."

[0.0] "The worst belts in the history of this copnay (yes its worse then the divas titel ) as the wwe countines to try and make progerss with its womens devison they have this belt witch is a cures to any women with the bad luck to get put into a fude for thees belts the wwe has made a habit of wasting the time and talent of the preformers of this devion. Get rid of this belts and just give more storys to the women thanks"

[0.0] "On this day, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville defeated Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez to become the new tag champions, ending Liv & Raquel's reign of just 17 DAYS. These titles really didn't help anyone, they were never treated as something important and only served to show the laziness that is currently being booked in the women's division. And to think that Mercedes & Trinity were disrespected by the public for criticizing how the titles are reserved and WWE just further proved their point, a nice 0 rating"

[5.0] "A title with a lot of downs and only a few ups. It started with promise; a super fun Elimination Chamber match with most of the teams feeling like actual teams battling it out for the inaugural reign made it feel important out of the gate. Then... the first reign ended after 49 measly days. It all goes downhill from here, with the IIconics being booked as jobbers or just not booked at all. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross raised the prestige ever so slightly with multiple (PPV) title defenses, although the storylines were oftentimes bare bones or completely non-existent. Kabuki Warriors raised them further, even main eventing a PPV, but an untimely injury and focus on singles gold halted their momentum. As the first 2 time champions, Bliss & Cross engaged in a rivalry with Sasha Banks & Bayley, having some super fun matches with multiple promo segments and consistent TV time to back it up. Sasha & Bayley winning them further pushed the belts upward, with a great 90 day reign with numerous excellent defenses and storylines. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, in their first run, did very little. But after Charlotte's brief consolation reign, it picked back up, with Jax and Baszler defending the belts an impressive 7 times. Natalya and Tamina rightfully won them, but as mass releases pushed multiple women's tag teams to the wayside, the championship was left directionless and without a single defense for nearly 4 months. Rhea and Nikki had a wretched transitional reign, and Carmella & Zelina' was even worse. Sasha & Naomi attempted to pick up the shattered pieces to no avail, as the wretched booking pushed them out the door. Raquel & Aliyah won them for some reason. Damage CTRL had a promising few reigns that amounted to nothing, Lita got her participation trophy, and Liv & Raquel are starting to pick up the scraps. The division is in much better shape these days, though it could easily fall to the wayside again, as it has so many times prior. So much potential yet such pitiful results overall."

[2.0] "When Vince McMahon announced the reintroduction I actually thought it was a good idea, because WWE has a deep roster, but in about a year, things went downhill with constant hot potatoing, nonsense teams, mostly quiet title reigns, and senseless slap-dash creating and disbanding of teams. It wasn't all bad. The Kabuki Warriors were fun, Alexa and Nikki was a nice pairing, and Mercedes with Bayley was pretty cool, but other than those 3, a lot of teams were champions once and then splintered. With a healthy division, these titles would be seen as major, but with pretty much zero tag teams, they've become more like props than actual titles."

[1.0] "These belts have always been absolutely meaningless, they have never been given a spotlight, and mostly because there is no real division for it"

[1.0] "Why do you create a title when you don't have the capacity to really book a deep and great division? Don't get me wrong, the idea behind the title is really good and the WWE have proven that they can do it (look at the NXT women's tag titles), but the main roster titles are just worthless and are frequently won by thrown together tag teams."

[3.0] "Used to meant something but now nothing more than an accessory. The only time it was a legit prestigious championship was when it was defended in NXT by the Kabuki Warriors or BossNHug, Other than these two teams, none of the Champions were able to generate much interest."

[2.0] "I just don't think that at any point they had the division to facilitate the titles' existence. The belts haven't ever done anything interesting. I challenge you to name one good feud over these belts."

[3.0] "Who actually cares about these titles? They've been treated as absolute afterthought constantly. Lately they have at least had some focus although its very hit and miss."

[3.0] "A bit unnecessary championship. If it also connected the main roster with NXT - as it was in the beginning, there would be more teams and it would make sense. And now most of the teams are random connections, pairs without ring chemistry, and that's why most fights are not viewed properly."

[5.0] "One of the lower tier titles in WWE I still have hope for. They can definitely turn this one around and seemed to be trying too."

[2.0] "One of the worst handled WWE championships in years, a shame for the women's division, they haven't put an ounce of effort into delivering new champions again after what happened with Sasha Banks and Naomi."

[2.0] "WWE has never cared for these titles, and they never will. As I write this, there is about two tag teams in the division. Most of the champions have been random pairings thrown together. WWE just needs to retire the titles, although they probably won? t"

[4.0] "Poorly booked championship that actually has a good linage. A small positive for this title, it's not as bad as the NXT women's Tag Titles."

[1.0] "WWE does not have a large enough roster in the Women's Division to have a Woman Tag Team Title. Championship fights are often tag team random. There may be two champions (Illconics and Asuka and Kari Shane) who have made sense since its creation."

[1.0] "Currently these titles are in the background, it has no prestige and the last champions have been sumanete randoms, instead of giving the title to teams like the Riot Squad they give them to randoms teams like Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, the last rivalries for the The title has been terrible, in addition to the fact that teams have already been seen that win matches of contenders to never have their chance. This title is lost."

[5.0] "Since the time we were waiting for tag team titles for the women's division, it has finally become a joke. At first it was great with the Boss N' Hug Connection, the IIconics or Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. But as soon as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler won the titles, the matches became very repetitive, and some teams were formed in a random way just to fill this women's tag team division that is becoming more and more non-existent (like Lana & Naomi, Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose or Natalya & Tamina)."

[3.0] "Had some good matches, but besides Sasha and Bayley giving their best to make this titles at least somehow relevant, nothing too good about this titles."

[6.0] "The women's tag titles have had some ruff times but there are some good matches. Asuka and Kairi Sane took these belts and made them worth something after they were almost forgotten about, but now it is remembered and now it feels their just throwing people together to make champion, but at least it's giving some of these woman something to do."

[2.0] "How about that Women's Revolution? What goes as extremely promising belts turn into these over-exaggerated props. I give the title two points for the reigns of the Kabuki Warriors and the combined ones of Boss 'n Hug, and maybe the Iiconics as well. The thrown together teams did nothing to elevate the belts into something special, and that means that the titles are pretty much useless. Honestly, I think the titles are at the point where they need to be retired. There are literally NO true women's teams (on the Main Roster at least, NXT has a few), and having more titles just continues to spread the Women's division too thin."
