Too Cold Scorpio, Shane Douglas, Taz and Rob Van Dam were all big focuses of the promotion when they held the belt, and the division usually produced better matches than the Heavyweight division, especially when the likes of Scorpio, Chris Jericho, RVD, Jerry Lynn, Tajiri and Super Crazy were competing for the belt. One of the best belts of the 90's when it comes to importance and match quality"
[10.0] "I feel like this title is more important than the ECW World Heavyweight title. The people who held this title usually had a rememberable run with it. RVD of course is the person everyone thinks about when the ECW TV title is talked about. I've always enjoyed RVD defending the title against Jerry Lynn. Its also better then the WCW TV title, but that's a different story."

[8.0] "A Championship I've always loved and probably one of the most valuable 'Tv titles' (probably because it was the only other singles championship the company had for any length? ) it was seen and utilized as a launch pad to the Heavyweight Championship and also something to hold while waiting for a shot at that Championship. It's designs were always quite nice, my favourite being it's last design. A shame in some ways that WWE didn't want to pick this Championship, although... at least it wasn't tainted by them either."
[8.0] "Probably about as prominent and meaningful Television / Mid-Card title as there was in the 90s and 2000s. As with all things ECW, some of the Eastern and earlier periods were pretty muddy but the angle with Mikey Whipwreck obviously really worked to elevate him into the World Championship picture and it allowed the incredible Too Cold Scorpio to shine as brightly as he ever really was able to. In addition it worked well to put the likes of Dean Malenko, Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero in the ECW history books before they achieved more mainstream success. The '96-'98 run was a hot one for the title going from Shane Douglas to Taz to Bam Bam Bigelow to Rob Van Dam (no doubt the man most associated with the championship), really elevating Taz and RVD while keeping Douglas and Bigelow relevant enough to be able to meaningfully put the aforementioned two over. Though his reign was legendary, RVD may have held the title for too long and it felt like ECW was scrambling to throw the title at others after his reign with brief runs for Tajiri, Super Crazy and Kid Kash all propping Rhino's dominant run. The title ended up virtually dead in the water when Rhino won the ECW World Championship simultaneously and while he was referred to as the "Unified ECW World Heavyweight Champion" and appeared without the TV title at the final two ECW House Shows we'll never know exactly how ECW intended to proceed with the championship."
