I am sure everybody would love seeing fresh and exciting British talent holding this belt, even NJPW, but as things stand right now RevPro simply cannot afford putting this belt on people who will pull a Bret Hart or Madusa on them. |

Retaining against the likes of Kevin Steen, Doug Williams, Davey Richards, Ricochet, Martin Stone, Rocky Romero and Shelton Benjamin is fantastic for the title's prestige and shows restraint from RPW who no doubt may have been tempted to hot shot the title among these internationally recognised men. Only criticism of the title is really the look of it, it looks a little cheaply made - but the matches themselves are excellent. UPDATE FOR 2017: probably time to rename this the RPW World Heavyweight Championship, right? |
