[10.0] "This is the belt and division that told me that there was wrestling outside of WWE. I saw clips of TNA back in the mid-2000s and TNA was amazing! The X-Division absolutely is the reason and catalyst for TNA's success and this belt is a HUGE reason for it! What a great title and great division!"
cfcrusader wrote on 20.10.2025:
[9.0] "The X-Division title is one of the best championships out there, even though it's a midcard title. If you hold this title, there's a good chance you're a top in-ring worker and trusted to open shows with amazing matches. There's been quite a few wrestlers who held this title and ended up as the company's top guy (AJ Styles, Chris Sabin, and Josh Alexander immediately come to mind). The current design makes it look like a really big deal, too."
ItsAllAWorkAnyway wrote on 14.10.2025:
[7.0] "This is TNA's de facto #2 title and for good reason. The X-Division has provided TNA with a consistent bright spot that set it apart from the other promotions through the good and bad of their history. Whether it was a launchpad for success for guys like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, to showcasing top junior heavyweights like Speedball Mike Bailey, the X-Division Title is one even TNA's detractors are forced to take seriously."
Zak22 wrote on 07.10.2024:
[8.0] "At its peak, this belt indicated that you were about to see a classic match, this belt put TNA on the map and changed junior heavyweight wrestling. But like all things TNA, its deeply flawed at times and hasn't been noteworthy since 2014."
Willie 19200 wrote on 14.08.2024:
[9.0] "One of the most influential mid-card titles in the history TNA and American wrestling. I love everything about the X-Division Title. It's booked strong 95% of the time, It has had amazing title reigns, I really enjoy workhorse titles and this one is easily my favorite. I also really love The Ultimate X match Witch this belt had a lot of those matches. Overall amazing belt."
Moose Nugget wrote on 29.01.2024:
[6.0] "The X-Division really brought in a lot of the modern style we see in wrestling today, however you may feel about that. I don't think the booking around the title was always strong, with the peak being when AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe were feuding over it. There were plenty of weak and weird champions who didn't fit what the X-Division was about."
joethom wrote on 12.06.2023:

IsThisWrestling wrote on 12.06.2023:

reneegade wrote on 17.10.2022:
"I have so many good memories of this title. X DIvision made TNA watchable in times when it wasn't and 'Phenomenal' when it was great."

X-Division was the most spectacular division and it was only for the most agile, skilled and talented guys there. This is the only title in TNA's history that didn't lose much of it's value, because even now, X-Division matches are the best on the fightcard. Winning this belt was a huge career boost for many guys who became world famous and absolutely top wrestlers."

The company's X divison is a fantastic edition to the shows and always provided great moments, ranging from standard matches to Ultimate X. The title was always my favorite in the old NWA-TNA days, and again from 2018 onwards. Looking at the list of who held it, there are some questionable champs but also plenty of world-class athletes."

[8.0] "The Impact X-Division Championship had its peak of utmost worth and covet during the early years of its establishment. AJ Styles was the first ever champion and he pioneered and helped carve out this division into the high flying, death-defying, kick-ass, pull-no-punches competition that it became known for, with some of his high risk and artsy maneuvers that aided in placing the company on the map before the big stars arrived. Add in guys like Jerry Lynn, Low Ki, Petey Williams, Chris Sabin, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels, who were a major factor as well. Beginning in the 2010's, the title started to become placed on the back burner instead of being upheld as a top title and featured in main events of shows when the Impact World Title wasn't on the line. Where there were stories and build ups in the past, sometimes random opponents would be thrown together if the company even felt like showcasing a bout for the belt. The X-Division had to recover after the Hogan/Bischoff era since they didn't approve of it. The original belt design was arguably the best version, then they changed it to versions I wasn't quite high on, but now the belt looks the best its ever appeared in a long time and has returned to getting the focus it deserves, while being fought for by a talented crop of guys. What is the best match for the Impact X-Division Championship? Well absolutely nothing can level up to the 5 star rated, classic, wrestling world acclaimed match between AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels at Unbreakable 2005. Just wow!"

[8.0] "Ultimately this should be remembered as a great wrestling title. Every title has its ups and downs, TNA/IMPACT titles more than most. But this title has been held by some of the best in the world today (AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels) as well as some all-time greats (Kurt Angle, Jerry Lynn, Rob Van Dam) while others who have held this title have captured gold elsewhere (Kenny King, TJP, Brian Kendrick) or otherwise occupied Impact World Championship status (Lashley, Eddie Edwards, Austin Aries, Chris Sabin, Abyss). For some it's simply a signature achievement for their singles career (Trevor Lee, Sonjay Dutt, Alex Shelly, Rockstar Spud, Mike Bennett, Kazarian, Low-Ki, DJ Z, Robbie E, Amazing Red, Matt Sydal). The title has been hot-shotted, it's had co-champions, it's been thrown down, it's been merged into a pile of titles by Angle and Lashley to the point of being invisible but in the end, this a title I love. Matt Sydal is a very promising champion for the division, I can see him having great matches and even Option C'ing himself into a World Championship run."
