[10.0] "These guys made HUGE marks in Mid South, Memphis, Georgia and of course in Dallas. Their unique Freebird rule for tag team title defenses was an A+ heel heat move. Hayes is one of the best talkers ever and he really had a creative mind backstage. Gordy was just a hoss and acted like a cruiserweight in the ring and Buddy Roberts played his jack of all trade role of being a fodder who could talk smack, be good in ring and have the reactions that made the crowd cheer the faces"

[10.0] "I'm a permanent resident of "bad street" due to the amount of these guys' work I've seen. Part of two of the best feuds of all time opposite JYD, whom they blinded as well as the von Erich boys which produced some fantastic moments and some of the finest storytelling I've seen in wrestling. In ring wise: Gordy is the star of the show. P.S. while a fantastic promo isn't the greatest worker in the world and Roberts was there mainly to be the fall guy and absorb pins to keep the other two strong. Roberts despite his age relative to his other two "brothers" could still go, he just wasn't anything special. Singles wise Gordy seems to be the most accomplished but that isn't to say Hayes hasn't done his fair share, at points working face and doing a commendable job. My favourite (well, everybody's) is Bam Bam, who at first is a little dull on the microphone but as time goes on really comes into his own as a promo and he is just one of the best workers I've ever seen. Roberts is the worst promo but is a pretty good bumper and decent cowardly heel worker and P.S. is the skynyrdesque rockstar."

[9.0] "Their work stands the test of time. Incredible stable as heels that set the standard and laid out the blueprint. Only Gordy was really well regarded as an individual, but as a trio they had virtually no knocks or flaws"

[10.0] "The team formula was essentially full proof. Michael was the irresistible force of charisma who had the "rock star" element. Buddy was the pinball who bounced about for the faces, and supplied chicken s#it antics near non stop. Terry Gordy was the muscle and mayhem that only had an equal in the likes of Bruiser Brody. None of them were slow, all of them had dynamite mic skills, with Hayes being a nuclear weapon behind the stick. Trendsetting trailblazers who alone lacked, but together made THE complete and total heel package."

[10.0] "One of the best heel stables of all time. They were like rebels. They feuded with the Von Erichs and made WCCW a name. One of the best heels of all time as a tag team."
