[4.0] "They're bad, but they're too amusingly cheesy and inept for me to hate. They're also unfortunately the first evil faction I ever saw"

[7.0] "I dunno, I love ultra-cheesy, over-the-top, lame mid-90s goofy-ass stupid wrestling gimmicks. Like I unironically love Friar Ferguson. And it truly does not get more cheesy, over-the-top, lame, mid-90's, goofy-ass, or stupid than the Dungeon of Doom. Just an absolute hodgepodge of C- and D-List Power Rangers villains who never stood a chance against the might of Hulkamania. It's great. Does it suck? Definitely. But it's still great. I defy you to tell me you don't love hearing Tony Schiavone screaming about the YEH-TAY and the subsequent double bear hug on Hulk Hogan. Hogan's "Ah! It's not hot! " promo. The Giant in his own custom monster truck running over Hogan's motorcycle and cackling with malicious glee as Hogan mourns his ride. The MONSTER TRUCK SUMO MATCH ON TOP OF THE ARENA culminating in The Giant literally dying and coming back to life like 50 minutes later, like are you fucking kidding me, that's gold, Jerry. It's just... fucking fun, man. And that's what wrestling is supposed to be. Fun. I'd rather watch something that's really bad but still fun and entertaining than something I know is technically good but still bores me to tears *cough* Adam Cole *cough* Seth Rollins. Even with my extreme dislike of Hulk Hogan as both a human and a wrestler, I can't get enough of watching him and Savage tear through all of these geeks. None of the regular DoD guys had any upside (either too old and/or too shitty) except for Meng and The Giant, and they came out just fine. So yeah, I really don't care if Hogan buried His Best Friend or Kamala or The Barbarian. This was more entertaining than anything else they would've done otherwise, probably. That's the weird thing about Dungeon of Doom. If it didn't suck so much, it would've been worse."

[1.0] "I was first getting into wrestling around 1995 when the Dungeon of Doom were on WCW. I was mostly a fan of WWE, but when I flipped over to WCW & would see the Dungeon of Doom, I would flip right back. Even as a clueless 12 year-old, I could see how lame & silly this group was. People like Bret Hart & Razor Ramon were the guys who drew me into becoming a wrestling fan. And seeing this group who seemed to think it was Halloween 365 days a year just turned me off."

[6.0] "Immensely corny, but also immensely entertaining. Essentially a bunch of B-movie monsters turned wrestling stable, with guys like Big Bubba Rogers and Konnan inexplicably thrown in for flavor. It wasn't what you could realistically call "great" tv, but whenever you heard "SULLIVAN, MY SON! " blaring over your speakers, you knew you were at least in for a trip."

[3.0] "It was a faction of mostly losers in WCW. Some of these guys wouldn't even be announced as members until one day they show up on Nitro being called a member. Look at this, Maxx Muscle, The Yeti, Kamala, Konnan? Konnan should have been nowhere near this dumpster fire."

[6.0] "6 points. Not because it was good, but here the assessment "so bad that it's even good" is more suitable. It's just a storehouse of absurdity and trash, stable that has spawned a bunch of gimmicks worthy of being on the lists of the most strangest in wrestling history. Also, in fact, this group had the goal to promote Hulk Hogan at its own expense - as in his early years, he had to face group of cartoony villains to a joyful audience (although in those years fans were already tired of babyface Hogan). And it was just hilarious - his promo, announcements of new Dungeon participants, in addition, Big Show started his wrestling career with this group and he became a really impressive intimidating character. The dungeon had its historical significance and spawned a whole ton of trash, for which this strange union is remembered to this day."

[3.0] "With all the goofy gimmicks running around, the Dungeon of Doom could be described as "a Rogue's Gallery of WrestleCrap. " It really just existed to give Hogan a monster-of-the-week to fight, but all its silliness did at least make it memorable."

[1.0] "This stable was just sad. An easy way for WCW to have Hulk Hogan win week after week, they never had good matches, never won, were never a threat, never over, and worst of all never entertaining."

[0.0] "Just pathetic. An island of misfit wrestling gimmicks, from Loch Ness to Braun the Leprechaun to... I could go on but I should probably stop there. They utterly failed as a foil for Hulk Hogan so badly that it almost killed Hogan's career (until the nWo happened). In hindsight they're probably most notable for launching the career of The Giant/The Big Show, but even that was an embarrassment as they saddled him with a bogus "Son of Andre" gimmick instead of just letting him be a unstoppable monster."

[7.0] "As bad as they were, they did give Hulk Hogan something to do for a while and did Help Paul Wight become a main event player so give them a pass. Also had a lot of so bad it's good gimmicks that you can't help but laugh at."
