[5.0] "Probably not a perfect fit for AEW, may need to rely on result protection to keep the unit over and retain their mystique. Might not be charismatic enough, nor talented enough, to keep the crowd enthralled if they lose matches; which is an X-factor only certain wrestlers have."
[9.0] "THEY HURT PEOPLE, winning hearts of millions in the process. Two legends that deserve nothing but mad respect that their previous contractor didn't have and their decision to join AEW will forever be etched in gold!"
[9.0] "Solid powerhouse tag team that functions like a mix between the Four Horsemen, Steiners, and Road Warriors. They dress like champions, both can wrestle, and both can be intimidating as hell. What the lack individually with promos is made up by having MVP do the talking. A great throwback style team."
[7.0] "Their gimmick is good, MVP is absolutely amazing on the mic, MJF adds a lot of star power & charisma to the group, while Shelton & Bobby add great intimidation factor. Really, they have everything but the in-ring ability. I'm not a big fan of Bobby & Shelton as a tag team and I think they rely on the gimmick far too much. They run over the competition which is boring and when they don't and try to take a match semi-seriously it's also boring. Maybe it's because they're keeping the good teams away from them, but then why on Earth are they tag champs? Shelton still has some gas left in the tank, but I think Bobby is completely cooked at this point. I really wish they had left the WWE sooner or had gotten this type of gimmick sooner, because had this AEW version of them been them since the start I think I would love them a lot more. But still, a good stable that has amazing promos and a great gimmick, but don't wow me in the ring."
[9.0] "The Hurt Business was one of WWE's most polished and legit looking factions of the modern era. With Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander, they brought a throwback vibe of suits, dominance, and swagger. The group helped elevate everyone involved. Lashley became a top champion, and Benjamin and Alexander got a meaningful spotlight. They looked and felt like stars, and their presentation gave WWE a much needed shot of credibility during a period when many factions felt cartoonish."
[8.0] "The Hurt Syndicate are one of the best factions in wrestling currently. Bobby and Shelton are both effortlessly cool and while their matches haven't been blow away amazing or anything, they've worked well at getting themselves over as dominant forces. MVP is obviously great as the groups mouthpiece. Not exactly surprising as he's still one of the most charismatic people in the industry today. The recent stuff they've been doing with MJF has been great too. I'm not a huge fan of him but his chemistry with all 3 guys in these promo segments is undeniable and they've delivered some surprisingly entertaining TV together. A great group all around. Could probably see my rating increasing depending on where this MJF story goes."
[10.0] "This was a fun group in WWE when they had Cedric Alexander. This version is still solid not as enjoyable as the WWE one but there just won the AEW World Tag Team Championships and I think they'll go on a crazy run."
[8.0] "The restart of the Hurt Business has gone very well so far. With Bobby and Shelton being tag champs, it's clear that these guys are the faction to pay attention to across all of AEW. MVP as a mouth piece is entertaining as always."
[10.0] "Just two badass men that will go out and HURT PEOPLE. Their presentation in AEW has been incredible, and after winning the tag team championships beating private party, i think its fair to say that this looks like one of the most unstoppable tag teams in aew today. One of their biggest weaknesses was people with size, and people came and went like miro and lance archer, these two came in and immediately made a statement. They are super over with the crowd and they have no signs of slowing down. WE HURT PEOPLE!"
[8.0] "A stable with a lot of promise. They really deserve a second chance as a group because I believe WWE failed them. The guys involved are all great. MVP is phenomenal, Shelton as well and lashely is an intimidating persona with great skills. Currently I believe the hurt syndicate is the most badass faction in AEW and even though it's early to have a complete opinion I think these guys can do very compelling things if they are given the time and proper booking."
