Undisputed ERA

Stable - Inactive

Stable Data
Name:
Undisputed ERA
Promotions:
WWE
Years:
2017 - 2021

No offense to Fish, but I always felt like UE was just a tad better when the tag team was Kyle/Roddy. But just top notch entertainment and matches every week. Easy 10/10."

Gave us countless great matches and some all-time feuds. Adam Cole at his peak in ring and on the mic at this point. Defined the best era of NXT and were the headliners to for my money, the best stretch of TV wwe has produced in over 2 decades."

They meshed well in every scenario you could think of. All guys played a part in what made this faction great. Adam was at his peak, Strong looked amazing in all matches and the tag team chemistry RedDragon have is insane. They carried the brand until the new generation was ready. Peak faction."

Not sure if Vince didn't see anything in them, because by the time NXT was getting phased out, they had already broken up with Fish being released (if I'm remembering it correctly) so WWE really missed the boat on having the Undisputed Era as a faction on the main roster. They had a lot of fantastic matches in NXT, really carried the brand for a while. Shame they didn't go on to bigger and better things on the main roster."

[7.0] "I liked Undisputed Era, but I definitely didn't love them. The biggest thing holding them back was Adam Cole as leader. I can appreciate some of Cole's work, but I've never been a fan of his, whether it be ROH, here in NXT or in AEW when I watched it. In stark contrast to what I imagine most people feel, my favourite member was Bobby Fish, who I feel has always been underrated, although he seems to have torpedoed his career now, which is a shame but irrelevant. Fish wasn't leadership material, in fact, of the 4, Cole was the only one who could have fit the role, I just wish there'd have been someone else. Overall Undisputed Era had some good feuds and some great matches, their work can be enjoyed, but they won't go down as a favourite stable of mine."

[10.0] "I really miss this faction. Undisputed ERA was one of the best, most dominant, & most successful factions of the 2010's decade. When I watched NXT between 2017-2021, a lot of it had to do with seeing what these guys were going to do next. They helped make NXT so much fun to watch. They were almost like a College Sorority version of the Four Horsemen. Adam Cole was the leader, a promo machine, and a top in-ring performer. Roderick Strong was the enforcer, a top midcarder, & a top in-ring performer. While, Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish were one of the best tag teams of the last 10 years. Together they all held NXT Championship Belts simultaneously (They have all the gold, they have all the power) type of mentality. They put on consistent high quality memorable matches. Participated in 3 straight War Games matches. Had great feuds with Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream, Keith Lee, Pete Dunne, Imperium, Moustache Mountain, etc. Their gang beatdowns were fun & entertaining. They had some of the catchiest theme music. They clicked on all cylinders. I remember hating it when Bobby Fish suffered injuries that put him on the sidelines for lengthy periods of time, because it felt like this faction was missing something. What was crazy is that Kyle & Roddy became one of the best tag teams of 2018, while Bobby was out. That was also when they had one of the greatest matches in NXT history against Moustache Mountain (The 5 Star match awarded one). This is an "ERA" that I wish did not come to an end, ever."

[9.0] "They was probably the best NXT stable to ever exist. All four men are amazing in the ring and are icons to NXT. However, it was a good decision to eventually break them up. The Undisputed Era had done everything they could. Adam Cole has won the NXT Championship and the NA Championship, won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic with O'Reilly and has won many end of year awards. O'Reilly and Fish have won the Tag Team Championships multiple times and have gotten into many feuds with what feels like the entire roster above the midcard, and have elevated some of the midcard into possible main eventers. And Strong has won the NA Championship once. They truly are an amazing stable, and tag team, and hopefully they have an amazing future as they have now split up."

[8.0] "As much as I think this faction on paper looks 10/10, in reality it's not. All four guys are a real stars and I loved their work together. O'Reilly and Fish as a ReDragon, Cole and Strong in Mount Rushmore. They are also good friends and have lots of experience together. Why it doesn't work then? Because they are in promotion, that cannot elevate your talent any higher. In fact, as soon as these guys joined WWE I completely lost my interest with them. To sum up, they are the most dominant force in NXT and pretty much one of the best factions in the whole WWE since they started in 2017."

Time will tell how the faction is used if they move to the main roster together. That will be the real test. But so far they have had great synergy & have a logical reason for existing."

[10.0] "I like Bobby Fish but during the first 5 months of the group? s run, they were just pretty good but once Roddy turned on Pete Dunne and joined them they became GREAT. Strong is just a more interesting character than Fish and he is MUCH better in the ring. What helps TUE is that they are interesting inside and outside the ring and what makes them THAT great is how the NXT booking once in a while puts them over clean. They do not suffer from the ? Heels are cheaters? trope. They are heels who can get the job done but will resort to cheating if they need it. I wonder if they can replicate that success on the main roster."

[10.0] "Wow, wow, wow. Everything about this group is just awesome. Honestly the best thing in wrestling at the moment, and every match they have is amazing. Kyle and Roddy really have created a fantastic tag chemistry, which is great to get them comfortable with tagging until Fish gets back soon. They got a minor setback when Cole lost the N. A. Title to Ricochet, but they are great regardless. Every segment they have, they hit home, and it's always so charming and funny to watch them. All of them are super awesome wrestlers, and all have had history together. I can't see anyone else joining this group right now, with the exception of Kevin Owens, because he fits with there character. There matches with One Two (Lorcan & Burch that's there tag name dudes) and Mustache Mountain have been so great, and there characters are also really great. They honestly need to stay in NXT, because I don't want them to go to main and get ruined like the Revival. Then again there so awesome they might be invincible to the main roster poison that goes to the tag teams. Best tag team in NXT History, best stable in WWE History, and best stable in wrestling overall. Highest marks. And that's not an opinion boys and girls. That, Is Undisputed. *Undisputed Era Hand Sign*"

Never want this run to end. Kyle and Roddy have amazing chemistry in the ring, fantastic limb working and strikes. Full marks."

Roddy was a great addition to the group and a great culmination to a six month story line. These guys are slowly but surely taking over NXT and it won't be long until they have all the gold !"
