[8.0] "Wait, hold up. Cagematch needs to rethink this, Bobby Heenan himself said it was never a stable. This isn't a stable. ANYWAY! Being in the Heenan family did not mean championship reigns ~ yes he had them but Jimmy Hart was more often the manager of champions. Being a part of the Heenan family means you were most likely heavily involved with ridiculous 80's story lines. Things like body slam challenges, pose downs, dogs snakes and birds being stolen, ushering in an era of Kings and The Barbarian having antlers. The best part was Ravishing Rick Rude."

Where they had too many members which meant some guys got shafted over others (and Hogan was in the group), everyone in the Heenan Family (except Brooklyn Brawler) was turned into gold with Heenan. Even guys like Hennig who didn't need him because they were great on their own were still elevated because of him. That's the power the weasel had."

Sure these guys would occasionally team together, but they were less of a cohesive group & more of a bunch of solo acts or tag teams who just happened to be managed by Bobby Heenan. No doubt that Heenan may be the greatest non wrestling character ever. And no doubt that many of the people in the Heenan Family will go down in history as absolute legends. But when I think of factions, I don't really think of this unit the same way that I think of DX or the NWO, which is why I wouldn't rate them as a 10."

The only failure in the group was Red Rooster and that wasn't because Terry Taylor couldn't wrestle, it was just a stupid idea. No matter, still one of the greatest arrays of talent for a faction ever."

The reason he is the greatest heel of all time. Every member of this faction was a major threat for every babyface in the World Wrestling Federation. No other faction can reach that level."

[10.0] "While Hulk Hogan was the top face of the WWF through most of the 80s, any good hero needs good villains to remain interesting. And this is where the Heenan Family steps in. For a few years, manager Bobby Heenan had one goal in mind: to extinguish Hulkamania. With this in mind, he amassed an army of heel wrestlers to go after Hulk Hogan and other popular babyfaces of the time. From 1984 to 1992, the Heenan Family had the likes of Andre the Giant, Mr. Perfect, King Kong Bundy, Rick Rude and Ric Flair, who were all a part of major storylines that defined an era. I think they deserve a spot here in the Hall of Fame."

[10.0] "Simply put, Bobby Heenan is in my opinion the single-greatest manager in wrestling history. The Heenan Family was around for 8 years in the WWF, even more if you count Bobby's association with the likes of 'Narcissist' Lex Luger and Razor Ramon, who Bobby helped introduce to the WWF. All someone needed was the association with Heenan and they got instantly boosted to the main event scene. This stable helped create many stars."

[10.0] "Bobby Heenan is one of the greatest villains in the history of professional wrestling and when he surrounded himself with a group of monstrous brutal heels, it seemed like a brilliant decision, increasing the degree of hatred for both the leader and members of the group, which later participated in several quite significant storylines."

[10.0] "The member's list of the WWF iteration of the Heenan Family reads like a veritable "who's-who" of great wrestling heels, all led by the greatest manager of all time. Objectively one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, stable ever."
