[1.0] "Easily the worst of two stables that came to life from the OG Nexus after that group got divided up, for easily having the worst booking out of those two. Despite them winning championship gold they were all treated like pure chumps, proven especially by their squash match at WWE WrestleMania 27 (2011), Barrett being the leader defeats the purpose of them being equals, everything around Jackson was horrible with his involvement and later rivalry against Barrett, and they also hold the record for worst Wrestling logo and t-shirt design with the word Core being spelt with to 'r's and diagonal lettering."

They actually weren't around that long but they still accurately represent a lot of the worst habits of 2010's WWE."

[2.0] "This was just the Nexus, only with Ezekiel Jackson, even worse booking, and a REALLY bad name that is even misspelled. Even worse is the group ended after Barrett lost the IC title to Ezekiel after he turned face, which was only a transitional reign to get it onto disfigured Cody. From main eventing against Cena and Orton to jobbing to Ezekiel Jackson in less than a year..."

Everybody knew the would always be one step behind New Nexus. i mean it was an exact copy of New Nexus in terms of member distribution. on top of that WWE was suffering a Creative Crisis during this time."

Splitting the Nexus after they failed the way they did was a bandaid on a bullet wound. It was time to take it behind the barn & put it out of its misery. Simple put: The Corre was stupid."

[2.0] "What a horribly booked stable. The concept was interesting enough, and by all rights, should have been better-positioned than The New Nexus. The "core" of the original Nexus was sticking together, while the rest of the stable followed its new leader. Instead, The Corre were mostly a jobber act who were booked incredibly confusingly. They were said to be a group with no leader, while also calling Wade Barrett their leader. They lost matches against random pairings of faces on big cards. They had a feud with Santino Marella for no clear reason that included a one-night feud with a rival, parody stable, The Apple. They tried to ambush Rock and Cena one night for absolutely no explained reason, and got destroyed for their efforts. They were just a series of jobber heels who were plugged wherever the writers needed someone to get beat up, with no thought given as to why."

[10.0] "I know I'm going to sound like a total Wade Barrett fanboy cause I'm such a huge fan of the guy, but I really loved the Corre stable! Even though I'm probably somewhat in the minority when I say that, I will agree that they unfortunately didn't turn out to be one of the best stables in the world because the whole "we're all equals" thing about them really died down after only a couple months of actually being a team so that really disappointed me that Barrett, Jackson, Gabriel, & Slater never got to be a team for very long and really have that philosophy of everybody being equals mean something for the long run. It also really bummed me out that the Corre had a crappy Wrestlemania match and I was also disappointed that they went through different variations of their entrance theme and finally got the version they wanted only to be split apart a month later I think. But aside from those disappointments, I still loved the Corre stable no matter what! I thought all 4 of these guys were amazing as a team and I thought it was awesome that 3 out of those 4 guys who were in the original Nexus stable branched off, added Ezekiel Jackson to the group, and created a team that was way better than the New Nexus by far!"
