[10.0] "An all-time great stable, defined by elite in-ring quality and an aura that transcends traditional face/heel alignment. Every member feels credible and dangerous, while also serving a clear purpose within the group--most notably in elevating Wheeler Yuta from promising youngster to a legitimate television breakout. The faction never feels forced or stagnant; instead, it operates on an entirely different level, where results and presence matter more than moral alignment. Bryan Danielson's ejection was a pivotal turning point that refreshed the act at exactly the right time. What could have risked long-term stagnation instead evolved into something darker and more compelling, reframing the group as an almost mafia-like force. The shift injected mystery, encouraged long-term speculation, and firmly positioned Jon Moxley as the company's ace. As a complete package; presentation, performance, influence, and longevity; this stable has repeatedly proven its greatness. Dismissing its significance at this point borders on wilful ignorance."

We now have the Death Riders, which is essentially the BCC but without Bryan & it's easy to see that missing that part of the puzzle is a huge loss. Even though I'm a huge fan of Danielson, I'm a bit surprised this group has such a high rating. Wheeler being there always felt like them trying to shove him down fan's throats before they were willing to accept him."

[10.0] "One of the best stables ever created by a wrestling company. My favorite stable! Phenomenal wrestlers inside that helped a youngster like Wheeler find his place and explode on television. There's nothing to say. They are at the top and have proven it so many times. No need for face and heel for them, they are beyond that. Bryan's ejection has also revived the stable, it could have become boring in the long run (maybe) but this moment has changed everything and transformed the stable into a kind of incredible mafia in addition to bringing a whole very mysterious story that leaves open to theories in addition to bringing Jon Moxley as the ace of the company. In short, not seeing how this stable is not exceptional is still very worrying."

[4.0] "I like all of the wrestlers involved (some more so than others), but I never understood the point of this stable. Now that Bryan Danielson's full-time career is over, I can't help but look at the BCC as a detriment that wasted his valuable years. For most of their run, the BCC were portrayed as tweeners who were faces one week, then heels the next. It felt like the crowd never really knew how to react to them. The tweener stuff may have worked for Danielson in ROH, but in a global wrestling company, people want clear-cut faces and heels. Listen to the huge pops Danielson got as a full-blown face in his feuds with Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland. Now compare that to the lukewarm reactions he got during his matches as part of the BCC in 2022-23 (yes, I realize he was technically still part of the BCC during the Swerve feud, but it was never mentioned or focused on.) A similar thing happened with Jon Moxley, who was far more over before joining the stable. When a stable causes your top stars to lose overness, it's a failure, no matter how talented the wrestlers themselves are. Another thing that irked me about the BCC was how the other wrestlers just blatantly stole a lot of Danielson's signature moves, like the knockout elbows and the stomps to the head. The elbows used to be a finisher for Danielson in ROH, but they got watered-down to the point where Moxley was using them as a transition sequence."

[5.0] "The initial concept of this faction was sound - hardened vets looking to bring through and toughen up a series of younger prospects. Then Regal left and it drifted and lacked purpose. We never knew if they were face or heel. Sometimes some of the group were face and others were heel. And other than Regal I doubt any of the others have ever set foot in Blackpool. This new iteration of the Blackpool Combat Club, with Pac and Shaffir following Moxley's turn on Danielson may prove to give the group some clarity, purpose and direction but it still remains at this point to be seen if they are even called the BCC anymore - commentary certainly dont know."

Continuing with the name was a huge mistake and that's not with the benefit of hindsight. It was very plainly clear they should've either disbanded or gone with something else. They've had some good feuds and good team matches and the members are believable, except for Wheeler Yuta. He's not a bad ass or a tough guy and can't pretend to be realistic one."

[4.0] "A group that has long overstayed its welcome. Moxley, Claudio, and Bryan are three names that people were campaigning for for years to be pushed in WWE. Claudios entire AEW run has been contained in this group as has all but the first six months of Bryan Danielsons. Moxley at least has the argument of being on top of AEW in its first few years without this group but now he has felt stagnant within it. The group has now also lasted longer without William Regal than the time that he was in it. All three had/have a much higher ceiling to be bigger stars for AEW than they have been since the group formed."

Yuta still looks like a bit of a rookie, but he's getting there. And for the best part of their run, they had Regal helping out. However, lately when together, their stories have felt disconnected and not as good as they could be. Danielson's probably the only one with proper direction right now, with his final year dream match story. Everyone else feels directionless right now. I want to love this group more, but the booking is questionable."

Their bond with William Regal created the group, and even after Regal left, they stayed together and stronger than ever, didn't changed a bit. I love the dynamic they have with Yuta, a young and brave learner, and of course Claudio, who really fit in with the group as well. Those lads are all about the combat, they like to bleed and don't run from a fight, but the stable still very young, I'm excited to see what's the next steps for this group, there are so many possibilities."

This group did nothing of interest really, and especially nothing to elevate any of its members (giving a belt to wheeler yuta doesnt mean he's over now). The one thing they managed to do is make me not care about Danielson, which to be honest is a genuinely impressive feat. It maybe doesnt help that their whole gimmick is "look how tough we are" and the leader is Moxley which is the epitome of a fake tough guy"

The early days felt like a weird fetish club with super weird vibes but that slowly went away and they had some decent bouts under their resume. Their most hyped matches are the AITA matches which didn't truly deliver for me and I think that sums them up well."

Nothing new or innovative, just the same boring shtick. The heel turn breathed some fresh air for a little bit, but in reality they haven't changed at all. Mox fits the stable's vibe the most, the rest not so much. I always thought Bryan was more entertaining when he was doing character stuff instead of the pure wrestler "gimmick"."

[10.0] "A legitimate dream stable that has not yet reached its full potential. The BCC became bogged down last year in an endlessly repetitive and boring feud with the JAS, but now they have hit their stride as a vicious faction who destroy everyone in their path. The induction of Wheeler Yuta into the group was one of my favourite wrestling stories from last year. Now that they are heels, the opportunities are endless. The BCC is one of the most exciting and intriguing stables in years, and I can't wait to see what they do next."
kirbystarwarrior wrote on 28.05.2023:
[7.0] "Pretty good, but they could be so much better. Claudio and Yuta hardly ever get to show any actual personality, and their brutal attacks after their Heel turn, while it worked well at first, got pretty repetitive, and made them come off as borderline Villain Sues at times when literally nobody except The Elite ever came close to threatening them, in ring or out. However, once Bryan Danielson revealed their motives about wanting to get wrestlers to be the best they can, and how they believe The Elite causes wrestlers to stagnate, it made them much more interesting. Plus, they do some legit really devious stuff at times, like Danielson distracting The Elite with a television prompt to allow the rest of the BCC to ambush them, or them gouging out Page's eye. Add on really solid ringwork and, while I certainly have my problems with them, it makes for an enjoyable stable overall."

Then Regal went to coach his son (lol) and now it's just all over the place. It's given Moxley a tool to be the worst version of himself, attacking everyone with weapons and no-selling. It's completely nullified Claudio, who is supposed to be a World champion. It's telling me to take Yuta seriously as a badass heel. At least it's given us heel Danielson again, but he's yet to do anything in that role."

Then of all people, William Regal shows up to become their manager. Now, you have these 2 incredibly dangerous individuals out for every single tag teams' blood that they step into the ring with. The entire AEW Tag Team division has been put on notice & is in serious danger. As a huge fan of both the great Jon Moxley & the legendary Bryan Danielson already, they have both found yet another way to keep themselves as interesting & entertaining wrestling characters. Brilliant. UPDATED: Now with the story of how Wheeler Yuta has joined the BCC, makes this faction look even sweeter. Best wrestling faction of 2022 already. UPDATED x2: They truly are the best faction in AEW. They are the leadership faction. They feel like a tribute to the 1990's AJPW factions. They are all outstanding in-ring workers. They are meant to be taken seriously at all times. They elevate their opponents so that their opponents come out as winners even in defeat (such as Top Flight & Daniel Garcia. Hell, Moxley & Bryan have even worked hard to try and resuscitate Sammy Guevara's stock). They are all deserving title holders no matter what titles they go after and eventually win. BCC is most likely the best faction in pro wrestling today (their competition for that accolade is none other than The Bloodline)."

I like that the membership is tightly controlled, the members all share a common ideology but are ALL pushed as individual stars. BCC has the most all star performance power of any stable in AEW, except possibly when the Elite is at full roster. Only limitation I can see is a lack of emotional connection between some the members, which makes them feel like co-workers rather than a tightly knit unit, which could limit investment in group feuds or storytelling."

Even tough this faction has spent (as of this writing) the better parts of its existence by feuding against Chris Jericho and his society, I still have to rate it a 9 purely because of the talents involved: Bryan Danielson who has a legitimate claim to call himself the best wrestler in the world, Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley who are both accomplished wrestlers and among my personal shortlist of favorites, Wheeler Yuta who is showing tons of potentials and of whom I've been enjoying a lot and a living legend in William Regal. Simply put, this is my dream stable coming into life. The group hasn't done a lot in terms of storylines, but each members already delivered great matches and has gathered prestigious titles from AEW and ROH. The entire faction doesn't seems to be slowing down anytime soon and I'm really eager to see what's next for them."

I don't know about you but I'd much rather see Bryan Danielson or Claudio be in high profile singles matches rather than multi man matches versus a stable like the JAS which I feel works best with multi man matches due to no one there really excelling in singles matches. This stable really takes away from something more than it offers if that makes sense. Also if you wanted Moxley to be in a tag team then you should have just paired him with Eddie Kingston instead, Mox has much better chemistry with Kingston rather than being in the BCC"

Danielson was really hitting his stride as a heel and because they ran out of things for him to do I guess (which is BS there are many feuds he still could have had) they paired him with Moxley, who's become kinda stale in his own right unfortunately. Throw in some washed up Brit in Regal and you have a tribute stable that doesn't have much of a unique identity, coupled with the talentless hack known as Wheeler Yuta. I'm not going to lie, if this was just a monster tag team between Danielson and Moxley where they won the tag titles instead of Jurassic Borepress and ran roughshod on the tag division, I'd be enjoying this, but instead I have to skip through Regal's boring ramblings and Yuta trying and failing to be a wrestler. If they had just picked better guys to join Danielson and Moxley, this could have been really special, how unfortunate. I still have to give points for Danielson and Moxley's good showing with this boring stable, do best with the trash you're given to work with I guess, I applaud that."
