[10.0] "After getting more acquainted with their entire body of work, I now understand more of their worth. I strongly feel Afa invented the character and Sika learned to follow. Pre "Wild" era, the two proved to be among the best workers of the territory system. By the time they were THE WILD SAMOANS! They elevated every wrestler and all companies they encountered and helped make a better product overall, paving way for the oncoming 80's and 90's style. A total commitment to the characters brought on a whole particular style for others to emulate and build upon for decades to follow. Is it all golden roses? Of course not, but the overall impact kind of works out that kink. Great stuff that ages fine because they were unique and quite the force. 9.5"

However, throughout their career, even though they were portrayed as these vicious, wild savages, I never really felt like that came through in their matches as well as it should have. They did their headbutts and crazy facial expressions but they rarely ever DESTROYED anyone with big bloody brawls and referee-stoppages. Probably why they lasted so long and everyone enjoyed working with them, but still, I always wanted a little more from this team. True legends regardless of my opinion on their matches."
