[5.0] "A meaty team with a middle man and big man mentality. Unfortunately they were another team despite a few years of title shots and ppv experience. I personally enjoy Braxton Sutter more than the Butcher and I think TK sees more value in Butcher than actually going with a solid independent veteran. This team were a hot flavour on the indies and became Revolver tag team champs as their only title reign. I dont understand how they havent won the AEW tag titles at least once. And yes meaty, pun."

They are not really helped by the fact they are just there as bodies and thrown out every now and then to fill a spot and do very little more than that. Very much lost in the shuffle but we have seen enough of their work now to know that is not really a bad thing."
[7.0] "Good midcarders that certainly can do much more than they're booked to tho. Clearly there's talent here, so I hope they can gent a push in the near future."
[5.0] "They're fine as a couple of nasty bruisers, but they've never managed to make their in-ring work actually surpass their looks. They haven't been helped by never receiving proper booking to make them strong, since they'll only ever beat total jobber teams or they'll win multi-man tags when paired with superior teams as allies, removing any real threat they pose when coming into any mid- to upper-level matches. Their few legitimate wins over semi-legitimate teams haven't made for any special performances anyways, since they peak as being mid-level bruisers and nothing else. They can competently work the generic AEW spotfest tag style, but with so many better teams in the company there is no reason to ever go to them if you want a truly good match. Butcher & Blade aren't exactly "bad", but they offer nothing at all to AEW, and they've been far surpassed by all the new wrestlers that have come in since their debut."
[8.0] "Cool tag team. Early during their AEW run; there was a really nice cinematic video package where MJF visited them at their butchery to request their services. I wish they had more bits like that."
[6.0] "They're perfectly acceptable as a midcard heel team. I'm not sure they have what it takes to hang with the better teams in the company on a long-term basis, but they can be credible threats in short bursts."

They have a great look, but for the majority of their run, they've lost most matches & been treated as little more than enhancement guys. To this point, they have yet to have a single memorable match you can really point to as being some great work. Here's hoping AEW creative figure out how to get talent over & put more stock in them in the future."

[8.0] "Im a big fan of the Butcher and the blade. AEW has a very deep tag team division, so it's easy for wrestlers like this team to God underlooked and undervalued. They don't have the same flash, or pizazz of other teams, but make up for that is straight forward, brutal matches and action"
[7.0] "The Butcher and The Blade are a good midcard heel tag team. It's easy to overlook them given how deep AEW's tag division is, and they're probably never gonna be a top team. But they're solid workers, powerful, and have a highly distinctive look. Their main weakness is a lack of mic skills, which would seem to make them good candidates for a manager, especially since AEW has brought that role somewhat back to the forefront."
[6.0] "Butcher and Blade are talented in the ring although limited charisma will hold them down. When paired with Allie I thought they would be a legitimate challenge for the AEW title. Their issue is standing out in a talented AEW Tag Team division. Will always be able to give good matches but will need to either improve their mic skills or have a strong manager to break out in AEW."

[2.0] "Bislang richtig schlecht im Ring; die Tag Team Moves sehen aus wie von "Random Indie Guys Team Nr. 297" aus dem Jahr 2009, und auch individuell geben sie noch gar nichts her. Mic Skills werden wahrscheinlich auch kaum vorhanden sein. Das Gimmick sieht erstmal ganz brauchbar aus, aber die bisherigen Matches und die Allianz mit Allie ganz und gar nicht. Future Undercard Tag Team? Yes! Yes! Yes! Bände spricht, dass nach dem Debüt die meisten Leute im Internet davon gesprochen hatten, dass einer der beiden ein Bandmitglied einer Metal-Band ist. Wow. Wrestling Accolades sind also auch nicht vorhanden."

Parks career has seen a rebirth in beyond as a member of this team and Williams, who hasn t been around for as much, is getting some major exposure. Can? t wait to see what these two do. Their matches on uncharted territory are must watch! Plus I love Parks creepy doll mask."
