[7.0] "The New Foundation in concept was supposed to be a new, more vibrant, more with the times version of the original one, now comprised of Owen who is 8 years his elder brother Bret's junior, and the anvil. At the time, M.C. Hammer was hot in the music industry, and one of his big things was wearing parachute pants in his videos, which i think was the correlation here to be new and hip. Only they added the loud color scheme and the checkered design. The dynamic of the team worked. Both the big man/ little man one that they had going on with this. As well as the contrasting of in ring styles with Owen being a high flying, athletic, technical genius and anvil always having the strength and power game on display. And the chemistry between the two guys was there instantly as they are brother in laws. They didn't last that long though and to my recollection only had two big wins as a team. They beat the nasty boys on coliseum video and the orient express at the royal rumble."
[5.0] "I'm going to include their 1994 heel run here too. There was glimpses of something good but both runs didn't even equal 1 full year of content because Neidhart was on the downward spiral personally and couldn't stay clean. Owen going to High Energy was a step down but by the time he and Anvil were back together, Owen was finally getting a singles push so Anvil wasn't really needed."
[7.0] "Fun while it lasted but it was so short that when i rewatched it, i completely forgot to leave a review because *POOF*, gone so soon! Too soon. Not the best Owen Hart tag team as each team seemed a bit better than the previous* but still very enjoyable. I'm a fan of both and the only thing i dislike aside from the brevity is the attire. The caveat though, sheesh. seriously look at how little there is to offer in terms of "get to watch it". It's almost exclusively squashes on Wrestling Challenge. Darnit. 7.25. (*discounting the Jarrett team)"
[8.0] "That team was gold but WWF never truly made the perfect jewelry with it, for me everything was a bit better than the Hart foundation except maybe some part of the presentation like the clothing and those weird baggy pants but hey weird booking I guess. The inring timing of these two and the tag team move were so great. One of the thing that might didn't help them be the greatest team of all time if Jim not being as good as some years ago ? But Owen found how to make it work where Bret couldn't especially on the mic and not taking himself too seriously."
[4.0] "Has a "new" team ever worked in the history of wrestling? To be fair to them, it is not like the tag division in that era was meant there was really not many decent teams they could be matched up against. The Rocket launcher was cool though, I will give them that."
[7.0] "Unlike most 'New' teams, I felt these guys had the potential to be something... Maybe not anywhere close to the original, but I could have seen them in the title picture, if not as outright champions (we were in an era with The Bushwhackers and The Nasty Boyd after all...) Sadly it wasn't to be, due to Neidhart's issues. I'm being generous with a 7 but I enjoyed the few televised matches they had, so I'm letting my heart bump it up from a 6. Plus, they had a great finish in "The Rocket Launcher", and who doesn't love their baggy parachute-pants ring gear? !"
[6.0] "A weaker version of the original Foundation. They were never able to reach their full potential due to Neidhart leaving early around 1992. And by the time they reunited again in 1994, Owen was already off to the main event scene. 1997 saw them together again but all part of the larger Hart Foundation instead. From what we were able to witness, they were a pretty solid team with Owen as the technical high-flyer and Neidhart as the powerhouse."
[6.0] "A far cry from the OG Foundation, or the one founded after with Bulldog and Pillman. Jim at this point couldn't really wrestle very well due to his failing health and increased drug abuse (which made him even more limited in comparison to when he was with Bret) and Owen wasn't going to carry them both to good matches. Pretty weak overall compared to the teams that used the Foundation name before and after."
[5.0] "Die beiden zusammen hatten was, außer Erfolg (leider).
