[2.0] "I think Pretty Deadly are one of the weakest tag teams on modern wrestling television, and the problem starts with the basics. A good tag team should look credible in the ring. They should feel dangerous, coordinated, and capable of beating people. Pretty Deadly never look like that. Their matches are full of exaggerated reactions, comedy spots, and theatrical posing. Instead of building momentum with strong double-team moves or believable offence, they rely on pantomime. It makes their matches feel more like a skit than a contest. When I watch a tag match, I want to believe the team could actually win a fight. With Pretty Deadly, I never get that feeling. They look fragile, their offence rarely appears convincing, and their matches lack intensity. Tag wrestling works best when a team feels cohesive and threatening. Here, the emphasis is always on the joke rather than the competition. The bigger issue for me is their gimmick. The characters played by Elton Prince and Kit Wilson lean heavily into exaggerated, camp mannerisms. The entire presentation seems built around the idea that they might be gay, but in a way that invites the audience to laugh at it. They aren't presented as openly gay characters, and they aren't given any real depth. Instead, the act relies on stereotypes--dramatic voices, flamboyant posing, and melodramatic behaviour. I find that strange and uncomfortable. If a wrestling company wants real representation, then it should present it honestly. Pretending to be gay, or hinting at it purely for humour, feels outdated and insulting. It turns sexuality into a punchline rather than a genuine part of a character. For me, Pretty Deadly represent the worst kind of wrestling act: unconvincing in the ring and built around a gimmick that feels shallow and awkward rather than entertaining"

[4.0] "Maybe I need to seek out their pre-main roster work to get the hype of these guys, but honestly, I don't see it. While they're not the worst duo I've seen, they're far from the best, they offer nothing interesting to me and just feel like WWE goes "hey, we need a heel duo to be fed to this babyface tag team, go out there and do your job." And the whole pretty boy shtick has been done better by tons, they don't do much that I feel makes them stand out, I also question why they were paired with Austin Theory at one point, just made no sense to me. In the ring, they're not memorable at all, seem like they need to be carried to have a great match, just seem like average workers who can do the basics, but nothing more. Overall, annoying duo that I feel are very generic and tend to kill my attention span whenever they're on."

[9.0] "Yall are sleeping on this duo, let me tell you. Kit and Wilson have been extremely solid in the ring and work great as a team, the only problem is people only see their work now on the main roster, where management has kind of forced them to lean more into their gimmick as annoying, pretty boy-esque heels rather than their actual in ring work. They were great back in nxt and nxt uk playing heels that could back it up with dangerous in-ring work, WWE just needs to let them recapture that. Sure they play annoying unbearable characters but that's exactly the point. We're supposed to WANT to see these blokes get punched in the face and if they're pissing so many people off already, that's clear indication that they're doing it right."

[1.0] "These guys just suck. Not at all interesting in or out of the ring. Zero charisma at all. No idea how these guys are on TV weekly. Honestly seeing them on my TV is even worse than seeing 2025 flabby Chris Jericho, who actually manages to be funny. They are just flat out boring and do not bring anything to their programming. They need to go back to the PC and learn how to capture an audience whatsoever. These two just absolutely kill any segment they are featured in and it gets even worse when they're booked against any of the other tag teams in their division that are actually fun to watch. Would honestly rather watch some interesting commercials or ads than watch them wrestle or speak. I know it is time to take a piss or smoke when I see them."

"Love Pretty Deadly, it'd just be nice to see them actually win some matches every once in a while, even if it's just house shows. As wrestlers they don't necessarily stand out, and it's definitely a marmite gimmick, but for me, it works."

I truly don't understand how anyone can dislike them, they're always a joy to watch and are a highlight of any spot they're in be it in ring or out."

[8.0] "At first I couldn't really stand Pretty Deadly; I thought they were lowkey overrated by fans, but the more I come to watch their stuff, I actually really enjoy the work of Pretty Deadly. They are heels who don't actually act like heels by their comedy in segments but are heels by the constant cheating during matches to pick up victories. Solid in-ring workers, solid promos but great personalities."

Their work in NXT, NXT UK and the independent scene stands up well and hopefully they'll get the titles soon Yes booooooy!"
