In 2024 this is straight up comedy gold, loved their wrestlemania win and they both deserve this run but hoenstly this rating is so high because of their original shocking run as heels dominating everyone. I have liked both incarnations of this team and honestly they deserve a better rating which I think they'll get as time goes on and more people fall in love with them."

I think they're both at the same level mic & in-ring wise, so neither can make up for the what the other lacks. Their run in 2011 or whatever was kind of hilarious then, and still now when you go and look back it. WWE tried to make something really big with them, but it just fell flat. Just really not a fan of them as a team, but solo they're absolutely brilliant."

R-Thruth doesn't change but still works just as well to bring a little levity and make silly situations funny all the same, on the other hand The Miz seems less and less involved in wrestling and I hope their cooperation won't last too long and that it was just an entertaining episode."

[6.0] "The modern adaptation of Awesome Truth compared to the old school Awesome Truth are two polar opposites that deserve a fair ranking. The old-school one had the match that helped further the feud between Rock and Cena, but they were just classic heels. (Bit boring at times). The modern-day Awesome Truth is a comedic act that the fans seem to enjoy whenever they are on television. (Enjoyable in my opinion). Of course, as a tag team, they haven't done much besides win the tag titles, but they are constantly being cheered and adored by the audience."

I don't really know what to say, they both do seem like great people outside of the ring but there's nothing they do, have done, or will ever do that makes me want to go out of my way to watch a match. It shows how little WWE continues to care about the tag team division. There were only two hey days and they were both in spite of Vince's decision making. The biggest moment for this team was the match with Cena and The Rock in 2011 and that had very little to do with them. It was all about furthering Cena and Rock's feud."

Miz and Truth are decent enough in the ring but there are a plethora of much better teams that deserve the tag belts more than them."

The fact of the matter though, I don't think either of them function together as well in the ring as a tag-team. They're both still really strong as singles wrestlers, but I feel their strengths are a little less interesting when you pair them up like this. Also, Miz continues to not beat the allegations that white guys have no sense of rhythm."

In a promotion where they have legitimately good and exciting teams that they constantly break up or do nothing with, this team just saps the energy out of the division. I would love to see this run ended sooner rather than later and hopefully we will get a legitimate tag division going again."

[7.0] "Despite the IWC loathing this team, I actually really like The Miz and R-Truth in a tag team, both are talented veterans who have had their ups-and-downs (The Miz more so) in their respective careers and both putting their differences aside and becoming allies for the second time in WWE. The Miz is the workhorse while R-Truth is the comedy act who puts out great comedy for the viewers at home as he always does, both also have great chemistry with each other. I hope this team stays a while because the more R-Truth on WWE TV, the better."

So, in 2024 they got A redo that NOBODY asked for, and.. yeah its been bad still. Some people enjoy this, and they can thats fine. I just.. I don't get it. Maybe its cause I wasn't watching during the first awesome truth run, so I have no nostalgia for it like some do, but yeah awesome truth suck. Sadly they'll probably end up as tag champs as well, which I dread but.. whatever I guess."

They should've beaten AirBoom for the titles at NOC '11 and feeding them to Rock and Cena made them look silly. Truth's suspension rushed their breakup before the team could really do some good."

Unfortunately, the booking became absolutely horrible as the team went on. They stopped being dangerous outsiders and were reduced to jokes, getting beaten pillar to post by pretty much everyone. Could have been something, but sadly WWE dropped the ball in a hugely embarrassing way."
