[6.0] "Valentine and Beefer perfectly complimented each other. Valentine the technician and Brutus the power. Valentine was more conservative in his appearance while Beefcake was the flashy showboater and they had Luscious Johnny V who did most of the talking."

When the WWF was peak cartoon era, this was a wrestler's wrestler in Greg Valentine & a -not very over the top- male...stripper? *shakes head vigorously* I guess his gimmick was that, *shrug* I'll never be for sure I guess! Whatever the intent of the gimmick was, Beefcake simply came off as a meathead there to pound on ya, with little to no frills. It was refreshing, they were a GREAT heel tag team for the era. Greg was as good as ever here and was able to groom Brutus into something very watchable. This was Brutus Beefcake's pinnacle and their whole run together is enjoyable, natural chemistry that only improved. No complaints until Dino Bravo."

[7.0] "A random yet enjoyable pairing of two midcard heels. Valentine of course mostly did all the jobs in their matches, but you gotta give Beefcake his credit too. They had some great matches as champions, especially against the Bulldogs. Solid tag team, and the break up is perfect too."
