[9.0] "I am quite confused about the low ratings for this tag team. This has turned into a guilty pleasure due to how everyone else views them but I thought they had really good chemistry and I found there wild brawls something needed in the early days of ROH (Not a massive fan of the brawling style normally). They definitely had their weaknesses but for what they were, they were superb."
[3.0] "Da Hit Squad was the first wrestlers that appeared on the first ROH taping, hyping the crowd. I've only seen his run on this company. They were built as the defenders of the code of honor and one of the top tag teams of the company at that time. In theory, that sounds great, but it was far from what they did. On the first segment of that show they beat the hell out of the Christopher Street Connection in a disgusting segment, in which they were saying that they were 'defending the code of honor'. It was really homophobic and awful. Not the best way to start a company. All of their little feud with them was just horrible. After that, they begin a rivalry with The Carnage Crew, in which they made some entertaining hardcore matches. It was some decent work with some nasty spots. But after that ended, they were lost in the card. They begin to appear in the scramble matches, that weren't particulary good, because they were full of botches and dangerous spots. The worst of them is the main event of One Year Anniversary. The end of their run was strange, as some dissension made Mafia join The Prophecy and abandon Monsta Mack. Their last match with the Second City Saints wasn't bad, but it was nothing remarkable. But not all their work was inadequate. One of their better matches was a 4 minutes match with Divine Storm. Another fun match is the one that they team with Low Ki against Special K, which it was an extended squash but was fun. Or the scramble opener on All star Extravaganza. Those were some good performances by them. But their matches were mostly hitting some cool powermoves and nothing more. They weren't anything special and for me all that 'defending the code of honor' by beating some guys just for being gay was horrible and to much for me."
[7.0] "A very solid big man tag team, always were intimidating and could work a good match. Many might mostly remember them for their ROH days, but I got familiar with them through their work in Beyond around the mid 2010s era."
[8.0] "Maybe DHS never was the most innovatives or skilled tag team wrestlers, but they are good brawlers, hard workers and know how to make look good their opponents, they were an important part of the success of ROH during the first years."
[8.0] "A really fun hoss tag team that brings a intensity but, can also make the their the people look good. And have growing since their team return as a tag team."
[9.0] "A good team that has had a great run since reuniting. Any fan of tag team wrestling and/or hoss wrestling needs to check out their work in Beyond in 2016. It's been fantastic."
[8.0] "While watching through Beyond Wrestling's 2016 shows, an early constant has been some surprisingly enjoyable perfomances from Da Hit Squad. Far more consistently impressive than you'd ever expect them to be, they seem to be defining the term "career renaissance" right now. There's no greater proof of the fact that you should never judge a boo by its cover in wrestling."
[8.0] "Day Hit Squad had a great 2015. In Beyond Wrestling they're the most popular team for a good reason. Their stiff, brutal, and surprisingly agile wrestling fits in a with a lot of much younger independent teams and makes them stand out too."
[1.0] "This team has aged so badly. Their stiff style stood out, but you can hardly say that makes them good, this isn't Tomohiro Ishii we're talking about. They just come off as thuggish and dated, and obviously bigoted with the Christopher Street Connection crap. There was really no need for those early ROH shows to open with them shouting at a crowd, even if they were actually good at that."
Ausreichend."
