[8.0] "The very best tag team of two sons of pro wrestling; Inoki/Strong Style Baba/Kings Road Style. Just only 78 matches under their belt, facing teams like the Hodge/Snyder, Mascaras/Arion, Bulls Ramo and The Destroyer Dick Beyer. Their last match was against the future All Japan old gunjin veterans The Funks. Both Baba - Inoki formed their independent promotions turned legendary juggernauts of puroresu and the industry became very more recognizable thanks to these two completely different men whom at one time, was B-I Cannon"
"We only have a handful of matches where these two teamed up, so I'm not comfortable giving a rating. But if I was just rating in terms of significance, B-I Cannon would absolutely be a 10. Together, Baba & Inoki were the most culturally relevant that post-Rikidozan puroresu ever was, and Inoki's singles push of 1969-71 that made New Japan never would've gotten off the ground if not for B-I Cannon. And when both men no longer had each other, their respective tag teams of the post-JWA Seventies - Baba & Jumbo, Inoki & Sakaguchi - were unmistakable attempts to iterate on that formula, as great as both teams were in their own right."
