[5.0] "In terms of in-ring, hard to think of a more interesting tag team in the era, both guys were very proficient. Personality-wise, though, there was a LOT of failed comedy that just didn't work."

[3.0] "Hey look! Another filler tag team from the Attitude era that you probably forgot about! This didn't last long."

[7.0] "Underrated team! These two used a classic dynamic: Blackman as the straight man and Snow as the wise guy. Blackman is an underrated straight man. He's just so oblivious to humor that anything Snow did to him had me laughing. In the ring, both Blackman and Snow are capable workers. Snow has the fundamentals down while Blackman leans heavily into martial arts work. At the time in 2000, the tag team division needed more depth, and Head Cheese was a fine addition. Very memorable team that could pop the crowd."

[7.0] "I know I'm in the minority here, but I had a lot of fun watching these guys. It was the most entertaining that I found Blackman and I love Al Snow. I wish they had a longer run. I completely get why people don't like them, but I thought it was cool. It may have had real legs at a time with a thinner roster."

[6.0] "This is some absolute Head cheese slander here because Al and Steve did great work here as a strange bedfellows tag team and had really good chemistry in their promos. I do think the name is pretty gross but so did Steve Blackman and it was really funny seeing him not wanting to get some dumb gimmick but Al was all about that gimmick life."

[3.0] "It gave Steve Blackman some more personality and their segments were occasionally kinda funny, but there wasn't much to the team overall. They got pretty over though."

[7.0] "An underrated part of the year 2000, Al was entertaining and he really added to Blackman who was.. not entertaining."

[1.0] "I never liked Steve Blackman. He was so boring. Guess I wasn't the only one, since the entire premise of this team was that he is a bore. Al Snow trying his best to find some comedy here felt forced & didn't work. Most memorable thing had Blackman in a Packers cheese hat so the duo could go by the moniker Head Cheese. Bad stuff all around."

[6.0] "Not sure why the rating's so low here. Blackman and Snow were both solid in the ring and Head Cheese, while they weren't ever gonna be the Road Warriors or anything, were a perfectly fine mid-card comedy act in the tag team division."
