Booker T & Goldust

[8.0] "This odd couple pairing was one of my favorite tag teams of all-time. They had great matches and just gelled together when in reality they shouldn't have. They started interacting when Goldust was begging to join the nWo and later, after Booker stopped trying to deny he liked him, they started a friendship that feuded with Jericho & Christian and the Evolution. So underrated."

[5.0] "I wanted to go higher but most of their positives as a tag team were for their funny ass comedy skits. The two unlikely partners who go on a crazy adventure is a good way to explain Booker T and Goldust and Goldust was never this over in his whole run up until this time in history!"

"(8.5) Without a doubt the perfect odd couple/random pairing. The two of them had absolutely nothing in common however that's what made them gel so excellently. Entertaining as hell and very talented. Definitely deserve more tag titles than what they got"

[8.0] "This pairing deserved so much more but what we have is (no pun intended) gold. I may be alone on this, but it's not just an "odd couple" pairing but also a WCW dream team; Dustin Rhodes with the better half of Harlem Heat would have worked regardless of the year/decade/company. Absolutely love both men's collective work and they were excellent together. Great chemistry, great story arc, high quality matches. Only the brevity is to scoff upon but them being a stable in Smackdown! HCTP is a neat lil immortalization of the pairing. 8.25 rounded down."

[8.0] "Incredibly hilarious and entertaining duo. One of my favorite 'random pairing' teams ever. Their strength seems to be lending more to backstage skits, but they were actually fun to watch in tag team action as well, evident by a string of solid matches they had over the course of teaming up together."

[6.0] "Booker T and Goldust were great entertainment. They were kind of like Mizdow before Mizdow, but both partners were great wrestlers. Didn't last long enough for a rating higher than this, but a fun and entertaining tag team."

[3.0] "I find this pairing mostly forgettable. I can remember a time or two where Booker was wearing Goldust's wig, but I can't recall much more than that. Just another goof comedy act. They were not as insulting as others, but it's hard to say they brought anything of substance to the product."

[7.0] "Didn't do much in the ring together (doesn't help WWE's tag division in the pre-TLC era just wasn't up to par) but they had great chemistry with each other, having some of the funniest moments backstage being a goofy odd couple. Would have loved to see these two more but sadly the man behind the Goldust gimmick would prove to be increasingly unreliable, and Booker would be pushed up to the big leagues soon after."

[8.0] "These two made for a very enjoyable team, and their partnership had a great (and underrated) story arc - going from Booker being annoyed and even a bit freaked out by Goldust's antics, to Goldust gradually gaining Booker's respect and friendship. It's too bad they only got one short title run as a team, but it was fun while it lasted."
