[8.0] "I really liked this team. They could not only wrestle but had a wild gimmick that, on paper, sounds like it would've been something from 1995 WWF or WCW. It's not surprising they didn't get over on the main roster. Not because they lacked talent anywhere, but because main roster fans tend to be kids and parents who watch weekly but nothing else. Nothing wrong with that, just unfortunate."

Normally I'm all for seriousness in wrestling and I think they had a great balance when it comes to that because they were actively trying to win the match, had convinsing moves and were serious about it in the ring. If that is all present, then your gimmick can even be a little bit more wacky or extraordinary. I mean if you look at the Undertaker, Kane and Mankind you can see that even gimmicks like these can work when you're really not looking stupid while wrestling. So yeah, they weren't the best tag team ever but I would love to see them in NXT or on the main roster these days."

[5.0] "I've never been a fan of them. They weren't annoying or weak in the ring, but I couldn't convince myself of them. It was something distinctive, but not very interesting at the same time. I preferred Aiden solo or in a tag team with Rusev."

[10.0] "An amazing team with a bright extraordinary gimmick, which both participants were perfectly able to match both as faces and as heels. Aiden and Simon fit perfectly into the NXT tag team division, winning titles in 2015, but unfortunately could not achieve success outside of developments. I really hope to see them together again someday."

[6.0] "The Vaudevillains was another of the teams that wwe depricidal because of the repetitive division into pairs. Possibly the best moment of the Tag Team was in NXT, where they managed to get the titles, but their reign was bad, having the title for almost 3 months and they only defended it 2 times. Their time on the main roster was terrible, because although they had a few starting opportunities, they mostly used to appear in the Main event or sometimes in Smackdown as a type of filler for the division. A tag Team that had potential, but was never shown."

[5.0] "They never finished convincing these two as a tag team, the truth is that I did not see them almost when they were in NXT but already in the main roster they did a bad job, maybe they did not help them but in any case, that's what there is."

[6.0] "A fun gimmick that had no chance getting over in WWE due to its subtlety. English and Gotch worked well off each other, especially in NXT and they weren't bad in their first month of the company. But Simon Gotch's ability to offend people with his presence killed all their hope of being more than just jobbers."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 10.07.2017:
[7.0] "English and Gotch have good tag team chemistry and a very fun gimmick that they play very well as either faces or heels. Had a good run in NXT with quality tag matches against the likes of the Revival and Enzo & Cass, and enjoyed a run with the NXT Tag straps. Their run on the main roster didn't take off as well as one would have hoped, though - perhaps their gimmick was just a little too niche for the mainstream - and that combined with rumored backstage issues with Gotch resulted in a limited push there and ultimately led to Gotch's departure from the company."
CrushBanonca wrote on 15.07.2016:
[5.0] "Both mediocre in-ring and I can't say I've ever seen a good match from the Vaudevillains, even as a team. Regardless, their gimmick is pretty fun and they even switched it up to make it work on the main roster. But as of right now it seems they've been pushed down just like the Ascension, a shame after their promising start."
ErycK24 wrote on 08.06.2016:
[6.0] "Both English and Gotch pull of their characters well. Both members are decent in the ring, neither man lacks charisma or mic skills. The problem with these guys in my opinion, will be their in ability to get over with the WWE crowd."
