So that was very eye catching but they have great chemistry and were just mental and that really made them stand out even during the attitude era."

(Let me digress further and say if they wore Suffocation or Deicide shirts I would have been out here giving them a 10 even if the work was the s#its). Let's get back on track here (sorry, metal nerds do things like this): Top tier chemistry even if they were little more than the enhancement team. One of my favorite underdog duos ever and I can't believe they even won the tag titles. Even though the team was ended prematurely via serious injuries, we all know it was only meant for that brief portion of time. A late 90's zeitgeist indeed."

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 04.07.2016:
[6.0] "The Headbangers were a solid enough team that worked well together. After coming up in SMW, they had a decent run in the WWF, capturing the tag straps, before being derailed by injuries to Thrasher and abortive attempts at pushing Mosh as a single. While perhaps not cut out for a long reign as the top team, they were good enough to fill out the tag ranks, and while their gimmick is somewhat dated now, it fit the late-'90s zeitgeist. They eventually reformed and plied their trade on the indy scene, eventually resurfacing in, of all places, Ring of Honor in 2012 for a six-month run. Still occasionally pop up on indy shows to this day."

[10.0] "The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher) are definitely a very colorful tag team and whether it's their in-ring work or how they come off as characters in their promos, they've always had really great chemistry as partners especially when they were in their prime in their WWF days! I may be biased in giving them a 10 rating, but back when I was a little kid and I started watching wrestling, I was a big fan of so many wrestlers as well as tag teams and The Headbangers were without a doubt 2 out of many of those people I loved watching back then and their original larger than life characters really amazed me so much!"
