[9.0] "The most badass snakebit thing ever. The wrestling world, us fans were CAPTIVATED. This is the best stuff Dan Spivey did by an astronomical long shot, though the star of the show was Sid Vicious (his first national exposure). You couldn't look away, some of the best squashes in this once great sport; the brutal burial of The Ding Dongs is one of my favorite wrestling memories. And I would be remiss if I did not mention Spivey's look; he spiked his hair & wore boots with vertical stripes to look even taller. Ever seen The Simpsons episode 'bout The Radioactive Man movie? "Good news, gentlemen: I've grown that extra inch you wanted. Plus several feet more." The brevity is painful but what's there is SO GREAT 9.25 (and yes there is a healthy dose of "nostalgia bonus points" here)"

[6.0] "Two tall, blonde, imposing guys with presence for sure, however I think this is one of those instances where when you watch their work that you realize the team looked better on paper than it did in execution. Danny was the better worker of the time, he was the one that took the majority of the bumps that the team did take, and Sid who mind you was still green pretty much came in when the time was right to pick up the bones in a dominating fashion. Neither guy really benefited from teaming with each other when it came to the way that they worked, so that's why I rated them lower."

[6.0] "I love the Skyscrapers. They were two huge intimidating guys who almost always dominated their opponents. They never had any classic matches, but that wasn't their purpose. Their purpose was to destroy other teams, which they usually did."

[2.0] "Dan Spivey was not that good as a wrestler, and Sid Vicious wasn't any better. Their size and aura did almost nothing to camouflage the fact that, as a team, these two sucked."
