[9.0] "For me, I liked The Hype Bros, and I thought it was a great idea during there NXT and early SmackDown days, but I think the reason a lot of people dislike the Hype Bros is just because they don't like the "party" gimmick if you will. It usually doesn't work out, and examples are Adam Rose and No Way Jose. The Hype Bros were basically a party gimmicked tag team, but it seemed like the one time the party gimmick actually worked for a wrestler's character. They seemed to be great together, I don't know why, they just had that chemistry, which is always good. I thought Mojo being the inexperienced one being hyped all the time, and Zack being the veteran wrestler and calming Mojo down when needed told a good story about the team. Personally, I think they could've easily been pushed enough to win the SmackDown Tag Titles if Zack didn't get hurt. After they reformed, all there momentum had gone away. Then they started becoming jobbers, and another great example of this is The Revival. When The Usos had come out on SmackDown saying they had the tag division on lock, and when the Hype Bros came out first, they got a decent pop, which means they could've easily gotten the crowd behind them because there such fun guys to watch. We never really got to see how good of a match the Hype Bros could put on given 20 minutes of a tag match at a Pay-Per View, and I think that's another main reason people didn't like them. While WWE made a great move in turning Mojo Rawley heel, and seem to finally be taking him seriously on RAW, Zack Ryder has paid his dues and should be earned a push. Theres always the option to reunite Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins as a tag team but I don't think that would happen, especially since its still somewhat recent that The Hype Bros broke up. I miss that there gone, and they were different and had a lot of charisma and funny moments. I'd be happy if WWE had them reunite for sure, and I was always entertained by them."

[4.0] "While not a spectacular team, the Hype Bros have decent character chemistry and make a decent babyface addition to the tag ranks, albeit one that will probably never ascend to long-term championship level. They also allow Rawley's weaknesses to be hidden in a tag team environment with an experienced tag-specialist partner. In the long run, though, one wonders if the team might end up doing more to hold Ryder back than it will to advance Rawley's career."

[0.0] "While they were solid midcard tag team in NXT, they have really no business to do on main roster. While this tag team was basically created to give Ryder something to do while not working on Superstars, it ended up on Smackdown Live after inexplicable decision to give Rawley main roster call-up. They quickly proved to not have a tiny bit of much needed team chemistry. Ryder may not be great, but he is able to work with the crowd and put some solid in-ring performance, which is something that Rawley can't do. It would be better for everybody to split them as soon as possible."
