[4.0] "Too much years developing nothing. Average tag team moves and latino personality, at least they are important on WWC, but their runs on WWE, TNA and ROH are bland af."

[6.0] "Reliable tag team that always did what was required of them. However, that's all I can really say about these two: their in ring skill was never the problem, but they just looked bland and regular rather than looking like a well oiled duo."

[4.0] "I feel like a 4 is a very, very fair rating for this team. They are extremely average and are only capable of putting on standard matches. Can't think of a single good match they had in WWE or in the indies, everything was very flat and the crowd just didn't care for them. They didn't have a good look, and didn't have anything special about them in-ring wise. Easy 4 rating for me."

[6.0] "I think they are a team that are good in the ring. Their WWE run was good, but their gimmick quality varied which effected their pushes. They have good chemistry together and if they get a good opponent they can put on enjoyable matches on the indies."

[6.0] "As Los Matadores, these guys were a solid tag team during a WWE era where that wasn't all too common. I can't speak to how good their recent work is, but they were absolutely solid in 2010s WWE."

[8.0] "Not very good on the mic and lacking a bit of charisma sure but they were athletic and they had actual team chemistry. They knew where each other would be and that counts for a lot in tag team wrestling. WWE did try and I thoguht when they was repackaged as the Shining Stars they had a real shot but WWE quickly forgot about them."

[9.0] "Very good tag team. I have absolutely no idea how is their rating so low. Also too bad they are stuck in midcard. They definitely should be in title picture, but instead they're the most underrated tag team in WWE."

[5.0] "Primo and Epico have been a fixture of the WWE tag team division for nearly a decade and generally put on solid performances, though save for a three-month run as tag champs in early 2012, they have never really risen above the middle of the pack. They've also been hindered by numerous repackagings, most of which were somewhat unsuccessful."

[6.0] "A solid tag team that isn't given any credit because they've been repackaged so many times it's hard to get invested in them. Their first installation of just Primo & Epico (w/ Rosa Mendes) was good but forgettable and they just came across as generic (other than Primo who is an already established tag team wrestler). They found the most success as Los Matadores (w/ El Torito) where they put on some solid matches before being turned into a comedy gimmick. Next came the Shining Stars gimmick which was a dumpster fire i'm not even going to waste time on (bad bad bad). Now they're back as just Primo & Epico and unfortunately I think it's too little too late."

[8.0] "I'm sad to see that The Colons are rated so low. People fail to see what great tag team chemistry they have, and how good at tag wrestling they are. In my eyes, they are a lower-tier Revival. WWE can't seem to find a gimmick for them though. I thought The Shining Stars gimmick was actually pretty well done, it made sense because both are Puerto Rican, but it fell flat. Now there just cousins that job out whenever there needed. Hopefully WWE could find a good gimmick for them, so they can get back on track and start winning again."

[1.0] "I have a question. When the last time was this team on tv ? I don't know why, but they are a waste of time. How many times does this team get re packaged, new characters ? And the things they received are just dead silent. They can't get over anymore."

[4.0] "How many more repackages will it take for the WWE to understand that these guys just don't get over. This family won't be interesting unless Carlito is brought back."

[7.0] "They have chemistry together, it's just a shame WWE has used them in so many stupid gimmicks and angles."

[1.0] "These guys as the Shining Stars are just boring. They don't get matches on TV because they are boring wrestlers to tune in to."

[3.0] "These two guys together are really talented but their gimmick (All of them) is just stupid. I mean come on they go from at least a 7/10 tag team as Primo and Epico and then go to Bull fighters and then two Puerto Rico's billboards. They were always focused on the stupid entertainment and never on actually wrestling. Overall they are pretty bad."

[2.0] "I can't stand this act, it's devoid of any charisma and devoid of any threat. The only thing it's good for is really basic spotfests."

[7.0] "As much as people want to crap on or poke fun at Los Matadores because they're a "comedic" tag team and how they look like Ninja Turtles, it doesn't bother me too much cause I loved Ninja Turtles when I was a kid, and also this gimmick is getting them at least a bit more noticed than they would've been had they stayed as Primo and Epico so I don't really have a problem with them being known as Los Matadores now. I know that these guys aren't as awesome as Primo was when he was teaming with Carlito but still Primo and Epico, these cousins have some pretty good chemistry together as a tag team."

[4.0] "Solid junior heavyweight workers locked in a gimmick that has no solid or logical foundation because bullfighting is banned in Puerto Rico."

[7.0] "They are not on the same level like the original Colons (Primo & Carlito), but they're a good theme. They have some good moves, they're fast, they're combined. Their charisma is like 0, but they'll be able to work on this."

[8.0] "The Colon's have improved a bit in my eyes. They are working more as one solid unit now, rather than two single wrestlers and they have the general basics of tag teaming down-pat. They have also found an identity for theirselves. As a team they shine far more as faces, rather than heels."
