[9.0] "Fantastic old school tag team. Sadly, the majority of their work will always be overshadowed by that one incredible match they had against Kobashi and Kikuchi."

[8.0] "Talented team that excelled all over the world. Only WWF struggled to make much out of them, but it wasn't a very good era for them anyway. Their matches in Japan are legendary."

[10.0] "When I started watching wrestling as a kid, there were so many great tag teams in the Attitude Era and one of those teams were definitely Furnas & LaFon! Even though they didn't end up becoming too successful in WWE, they were still a great team! I used to love watching them on Shotgun Saturday Night when I was a little kid and seeing them take on teams like Scott Taylor & Flash Funk and The Hardy Boyz when they were starting out as jobbers in WWE! I really wish they would've been a more successful team during their WWF run! I wish WWE would've given them the tag titles at least once throughout 1996 and 1997 cause they were such a great team! I feel very sad too that Doug Furnas died last month. I was definitely a big fan of his just like I was with Phil LaFon without a doubt! RIP Doug Furnas."
