[6.0] "The SAT (Spanish Announce Team) were one of the most influential and innovative tag teams on the indies of the early 2000's. Both Joel and Jose Maximo were trained by Mikey Whipwreck, as well as The Amazing Red, who often tag with them. As I've said they were one of the most famous tag teams of their time in the indies and as far as I know they are considered the creators of moves such as the Spanish Fly off the top rope. On the early ROH shows one of the biggest spots was that move. They also tried to innovate on every match doing incredible high flying or big spots. Some of them didn't go well, such as the Washing Machine, which hurt at least two wrestlers in ROH. I think that their influence on tag team wrestling is often overlooked and that they are not praised as this innovators, but it's also fair to say that most of their matches were sloppy and with botches. Talking about their career I have to say I've only seen their work in TNA and ROH. In ROH they started feuding with Red and the other Whipwreck students. They even got the chance wrestled Eddie Guerrero on ROH A Night of Appreaciation, the final Eddie indie appearence after returning to the WWE. They wrestled on the Tag Team Title tournament, but lost on the first round against The Prophecy (Christopher Daniels and Donovan Morgan) in one of their best matches in ROH. After that they moved to wrestle on almost every Scramble match. The first ones were fine, but the usual botches and sloppyness of this matches made me a bit tired of them. That doesn't mean than in someones the SAT looked fine. For example, I liked the one at Glory by Honor, All Star Extravaganza, Expect the Unexpected, Wrath of the Racket, Beating the Odds... Others were just bad and really sloppy and full of botches. They also wrestled with Konnan on one of his infamous matches at ROH, on the one they kept on the tape. They then wrestled at the biggest scramble of them all at the One Year Anniversary Show with 14 wrestlers. It was pretty bad, but it was memorable in a way. But their most memorable match was the Scramble Cage at Main Event Spectacles, a cage match with platforms on the top to dive off. It was crazy and the SAT made a great impression there with a Spanish Fly off the platforms. They also wrestled on TNA a bit, mostly wrestling in tag matches or alongside Red. I liked their encounters against AMW, the Flying Elvises and specially against Triple X in two matches, on Triple X's debut with Red on an amazing performance with Red being the best underdog of the company and with great moves, and later on a normal tag team. Also had a role on the feud between Jerry Lynn and Konnan, as the first mexican wrestlers to be defeated by Jerry Lynn. So, to recap: a really innovative team which influence often is not regarded, with pretty great moves, but also some sloppiness. I've enjoyed some of their work, other not, but I'll go up on the rating a bit for their contribution."

[9.0] "A great independent tag team. I am absolutely bewildered by the low rating. I have seen them across multiple decades and they have crisp tag team offense in every single decade and have great chemsitry which is to be expected with them being related. Quite curious what everyone else is playing at with this poor rating for one of the best tag teams on the independents."

"Maybe im biased, but I grew up on ROH videotapes, so I LOVE the S.A.T. Those matches with devine storm in roh & with the briscoes in czw are what my mind goes to when I think of tag team wrestling. So happy to see them back in MLW. Its been WAY too long. Its a 10 for me."

[10.0] "I don't think they deserve a 10 but this rating is so low that I think it's unfair, they were very innovative tag team wrestlers in the decade of 2000's and a lot of indie tag teams nowadays owes a lot to them, they sure deserve a better rating than just a 5 or 6."

[10.0] "Like their cousin the Amazing Red, SAT's influence to indie wrestling has been almost forgotten. If Red was a pioneer of the high spot indie wrestling style, the Maximos did the same for tag wrestling. They are so incredibly underrated and wrestled so cleanly. They shouldn't be forgotten"

[9.0] "This is really shocking to see their rating so low. Some great and impressive double team moves, high risk dives. been minimal botches (got sluggish in recent years) but for the most part they are a great team, great chemistry."
