These two not only have pretty good matches, but also are phenomenal at comedy work. Chad's "SHOOSH please! " is a great catchphrase, and when he says "A-THANK YOUUUUU! " I can't stop laughing. These guys deserved the Raw Tag Team Championships, and I really hope they win the gold back, because they deserve it."

Alpha Academy are part of many segments and they always perform very well, they are fun, they are talented in the ring and they have good chemistry with themselves and with opponents. They often lose, but do not lose rank on these failures at all. Hope to see them again with tag team titles."
[10.0] "Like I'm sure a lot of people were, I was very hesitant with this team. Otis had just come off a loss of the Money in the Bank contract and losing his previous tag partner Tucker, whom he had great chemistry with. Pairing Otis with someone else so soon felt... wrong. At first the team didn't so much for me. They had a weird dynamic where Otis was still the loveable babyface, but Chad was a heel. Eventually Otis turned and then I started getting more on board. Their SmackDown run in 2021 wasn't great but not bad either. Then 2022 came around and out of absolutely no where they became tag team champions. After that moment, I absolutely fell in love with this team. Banger matches with teams like the Street Profits, The Mysterios, Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins. And the best part was they gave Chad Gable promo time and allowed him to develop a personality and connection with the audience with his "SHOOOOSH" gimmick (best gimmick in wrestling right now in my opinion). This team has really come into it's own this year. Otis and Gable have developed fantastic chemistry as both characters and in the ring. They both ooze charisma and are capable of putting on great matches. Fantastic tag team."
[9.0] "Great tag team! People were hesitant at first with the Otis heel turn (and that he then later shaved his beard) but wow it has turned out well in the long run. Together with RK-Bro, the Dirty Dawgs and the Street Profits they make RAW's tag team division pretty darn solid. The two work off each other really well and I think they deserve another championship run."

I can't believe these guys won the titles, they 100% earned it, and the story behind their friendship makes it that much more of an awesome moment! The joy Corey felt when he saw those bores FTR debut is what I felt when I saw these guys win the title, they bring fun, uniqueness, and great in-ring talent to a roster that desperately lacks in two of those areas, and you can easily guess which ones. [9.0] "I personally am a huge fan of this tag team. Chad Gable is a technical god in the ring and Otis can dominating powerhouse when given the chance. Promo skills might not be the best, but these Olympic level athletes can let their wrestling do the talking--especially Gable. I think they a big push and a bigger opportunity than being fodder to the Street Profits every week. I think they can most definitely be Tag Team Champions."
[8.0] "I think I'm one of the only ones who really appreciate this association between Chad Gable and Otis. I know that Otis is not appreciated with the fans and that's normal but now he's far from the main event scene and he's becoming really enjoyable to watch as he used to be. Not as much as in his babyface days, but nice anyway. And Gable is just excellent, you can team him up with anyone, he will always make his teammate shine. On top of that, this duo makes sense, Gable is trying to convert Otis into someone more serious, who takes some ridiculous moves out of his arsenal and acquires a more aggressive personality. I didn't think that Otis heel could work, and this duo proved me wrong. I find them really fun together. If it were up to me, Heavy Machinery would still exist and Gable would be a solo star, but until then WWE offers us this duo and I find him very enjoyable. It's an important step in the rebuilding of Otis' career and it gives a lot of TV time to Gable who deserves it more than anyone else, so it's all positive. Given the momentum they've gained recently, I think it's a great opportunity for them to win the titles and have a big run as heels in the SmackDown tag division, there's a lot of potential match-ups as well. I would like to add that the two are best friends in private life so it's a nice touch, they must love working together so I'm happy for them."
