World Tag League 2024

[2.0] "This years tag league blew last years out of the water with how shitty it was. Block B was absolute dog shit, block A was alright as it had the better stars in the block. The finals was really good, but match of the tournament has to be Oiwa/ZSJ vs Bishamon. (Shingo/Tsuji also did really well too). Another thing that really bummed me out was who Zayne's tag partner was in Taguchi. Seriously? It should've been someone we wouldn't expect. Just a personal nitpick, but still a horrible tournament (minus Tsuji/Shingo, Bishamon and ZSJ/Oiwa having bangers)."

[3.0] "This was already looking like a lackluster tournament with everyone guessing for naito and hiromu to win. Until new japan announced the United Empire vs young bucks match for the IWGP tag titles in the Wrestle Dynasty in Tokyo dome show which made the already lackluster tournament pointless and the tournament would be even from unforgivable due to the tag champ Aaron henare's injury, and the tag titles are vacated on the spot, so when the tag titles are vacated and you already have a tag tournament going on which promise a shot that at title, so the natural conclusion would be to crown the tag titles to the winner of the tournament? Right? Well that doesn't happen why? For no reason. And what the winning team naito and hiromu did, decided to fight each other in wrestle kingdom while untied empire had to bring Jeff cobb to fight the bucks and yes naito and hiromu would go to be fight them in a triple threat. This still shows new japan are overbooking a simple mess which could have been easily solved"

[5.0] "None of the tag league matches were necessarily bad, but none of them were exactly memorable in the slightest. My favorite match of the tournament was definitely Bishamon vs TMDK but the finals were also pretty good. But overall a pretty lame tournament with nothing much going for it, but not terrible."

[4.0] "Pretty rough tournament and boring overall I'd say. There were hardly any matches worth checking out here, but there were a couple of standouts, mostly involving ZSJ & Oiwa. [MOTT: Bishamon vs. Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.]"

[6.0] "Ok so the match quality throughout this tournament was seriously lacking and at points down right poor. However, I stuck with it throughout and as such quite enjoyed it as a whole. It wasn't too serious and provided a little light relief in the lead up to the Tokyo Dome."

[5.0] "As for the tournaments that took place in 2024 in NJPW, I think this one doesn't look the best. Most of the matches that took place were quite acceptable, of course there were a few weaker matches, but there were also a few really good wrestling matches. However, as a whole, I think it wasn't something great."
