[5.0] "On the first show of TNA's history they did a tournament to declare the first NWA champion of the TNA era. At the beginning of the show they did a segment where they pay tribute to some NWA legends, such as Jackie Fargo or Harley Race and others, and there Jarrett, Scott Hall and Ken Shamrock cut a promo talking about how each was going to win the match and became the champion. It was weird to hear them talking bad about the stipulation, but who cares I guess. On the main event they did a 20 man battle royal where the two last participants had to wrestle a normal match. The battel royal was decent and had some decent moments, for example Toby Keith and Scott Hall suplexing Jarrett and eliminating him, or Malice looking like a monster. The two last wrestlers where Malice and Ken Shamrock. After some domination by Malice, Shamrock hit a belly to belly suplex to win the title. It wasn't the best tournament, but it was enjoyable."
